Zombie survival by car? NOT by

OK, just to be clear, that as a geek I’m totally by the imminent arrival of the “Zombie Machine” or “ZSM” designed by Kirkman creator of ghoulish-yet-awesome book and cable television The Walking Dead and now being on a Hyundai Elantra Coupe by the custom car Design Craft .

is, of course, all part of gruesome campaign Hyundai is involved to herald the arrival of the 100th of The Walking Dead comic at the Comic-Con International trade running from July 12 th July 15 th in San Diego this

The “ Hyundai Undead campaign is also part of the Korean carmaker calls its into the Gen Y culture beyond into other key passion like entertainment and gaming” in to drum up interest ( and hopefully ) of its Elantra line of sedans and

Indeed, the key part of this marketing effort will be a of videos highlighting the step-by-step of this one-of-a-kind ZSM vehicle a designed ostensibly to destroy whilst protecting its human from a ghastly end; of with a little design thrown in for good measure.

But a CAR? A zombie aficionado Kirkman believes a low-slung is the ideal mechanized platform to humanity from the flesh-eating of the undead? REALLY?

Heck, zombies are often ( creating one of but MANY contradictions zombie-culture, for how can something rotted with decay at the same exert superhuman strength? But I ) and as they travel in packs flip this little car easily one would think.

I if you want a vehicle not only of crushing legions of undead to smithereens yet also capable of loads of live humans to not to mention the food, medical and weaponry necessary to ensure survival you go and modify a tractor-trailer.

Get yourself a big tractor equipped a 600 horsepower engine, capable of one ( if not more! ) trailers fashioned benches for packing in loads of humans, storage racks for and mounting brackets for 50-caliber guns, flamethrowers, or whatever anti-zombie weapon of choice be, and NOW you’ve got yourself a bonafide “Zombie Deliverance Machine” or

There’s not a truck driver in the that wouldn’t want to such a rig ( and not just because the seat would be the absolutely spot to be, far out of reach of flesh-hungry )

Of course, this is all make-believe of the ( and enjoyable! ) order. Heck, the Centers for Disease Control got into the spirit of things the usually stone-serious government unveiled its Zombie Apocalypse guide a few years back.

And who yet knows? We may yet get to see a customized 18-wheeler out its own special niche in zombie one day.
