The Tiguan do anything different, but it does things well.

What is it?

A mini SUV based on a The Tiguan’s chunky styling lure you into thinking it can it. It can’t, but that’s all right more owners will set on the Moon than take it This was one of the latecomers to the junior SUV and there’s no specific USP to make it out from the opposition.

But it’s a Volkswagen, so it just on with being safe, and a little bit posh at the same

Essentially a Golf some extra height and the Tiguan retains enough for you to throw it around if the mood you. It steers accurately and body movements well, and in guise designed more for than tundra there’s traction to push you through whatever the weather. That through the bends hasn’t the ride too much, and the Tiguan one of the smoothest, comfiest cars in its (though it doesn’t quite the class of the BMW X3).

There are three engines to from: a 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TDIs either 140 or 177bhp. The 1.4-litre is great in the smaller, lighter but here it feels a bit tepid its 150bhp. There’s nothing here. These engines are in most other Volkswagens and not a duff one among them. and CO2 levels are among the best in the provided you stick with transmission, though they a slight knock if you opt for all-wheel

It falls into the pricier of the market, which is what expect given the upmarket on the front, so be wise with option choices and settle for a trim. Japanese rivals are cheaper to buy, but the Tiguan is to have better used
