Hello psychoannie and everyone who is tired of their Phaeton in the garage. I am assuming that is from owning your

to the point, we bought our pre-owned Phaeton W12 from a certified VW in FL, it was the dealership’s owner’s personal I did a lot of research and figured this was the way to go. I had my first electronic/electrical problem 1.5 hours of leaving the dealership on my way to Houston. Since then it has constant.

The Phaeton had a 5 yr / 50k warranty through 4 2009, I was having so many problems that we held driving it to make the mileage as long as the 5 year warranty. It is now 7 2009, 4 months after the expired. The car has 51,142 miles on it and is undriveable unless I take her in to the monthly to have the system

IF it is not driven daily, then the system starts turning off. At the present time, it actually turn itself off I am driving down the road, dangerous. Most of the time it turns itself off at a stoplight, it 3 – 4 minutes then to let us proceed on.

We have driven it than 1,200 miles March 2009, about 210 per month, that is NOTHING in Texas.

We bought our 2004 in Dec 2006, it had 17,400 miles on it.

My list of problems with our Phaeton W12 is below, ALL maintenance and / or have been done at a VW dealer:

– trunk will not with remote, ‘repaired replaced’ components – 4

– system fault at least 4 times

– itself off, 3 times, not present situation, which 4 times.

– alarm not work, including now. time.

– transmission pan drips, has been ‘repaired’ is leaking again now for third

– rear engine leaks, has been ‘repaired’ is leaking again now for the third

– rear battery has replaced twice, will not charge now, needs to be again now. third

– the car MUST be driven at a every other day, for at 20 miles, otherwise it starts off electronic systems in the car

– tire’ light is consistently on, the valve antennas have replaced once. I got it to go off now, by inflating the tires.

Our Phaeton has IN the VW shop for at least 3.5 months of the 32 that we have owned two of the times were for a month time.

Because VW sold so few here in the they do not have technicians who are capable of working on the Phaeton, now that they have not sold here for several

When it decides that it to go, it is a GREAT car, we love it, but of the time it doesn’t want to go, she is a lot a cat, when she wants to be GREAT, when she doesn’t to be stroked. LOOK OUT!

I am currently speaking with an who specializes in vehicle lemon anybody else want to us and put together a lawsuit to get some
