Rally-Bred Suspension.

Proven in the Paris-Dakar Rally, monotube shocks with heat-expansion chambers heighten precision and endurance for high-performance driving.

Aerospace-grade 6061-T8 extruded aluminum construction, monotube design, with external heat-expansion chambers. You might be thinking NASA, but this is pure Isuzu. Nearly impossible to overheat, they cool faster and damp more efficiently than ordinary shocks.

While you won’t find them on any other production SUV, they’re standard with VehiCROSS’ double-wishbone front, 4-link rear suspension. So as long as you maintain on-earth orbit, VehiCROSS can attack most any surface you encounter.

Originally developed for off-road motorcycle racing, the first Isuzu SUV to employ external reservoir shocks was a Paris-Dakar Rally vehicle. (It won.) Today this technology is part of every VehiCROSS, and still winning. (VehiCROSS conquered its class in the 1999 Australian Safari Rally.)
