Options Fitted: None standard spec is choc-a-block full of goodies. I suppose Id have to consider the panoramic glass roof with sunblind for only $1000. CarAdvice rating: 4.5/5 Where it sits Just $2000 on the GT price of $31,490 and top shelf in the 207 model range. Do yourself a favour and go straight to the GTi. Peugeot 207 Review

Peugeot 207 Review So, it’s a petrol-engined car that thinks it’s a diesel and that is no bad thing, especially when it comes to almost diesel-like fuel consumption figures. 12 March 2007 MAC So, it’s a petrol-engined car that thinks it’s a diesel and that is no bad thing, especially when it comes to almost diesel-like fuel consumption figures. Measured under test conditions with the weight of one occupant, the 207 GT managed 30.3mpg for the urban cycle, 50.4mpg for the extra-urban and the resultant ‘combined’ is 40.3mpg, with CO2 emissions of 166g/km (VED Band E). Aggregated reviews, user reviews, videos, photos and stats Good looking Well made Safe Cramped in the back Pricey compared to rivals Some slow engines The Peugeot 207’s high sticker-price is balanced by a dynamic drive and well-built cabin, yet in the face of stiff competition, it struggles to be anything other than distinctly average. Interior The 207, experts say, is a giant leap forward from its cramped and badly made predecessor, the 206. The largely ergonomically-sound interior benefits from good-quality plastics, but the fascia looks plain and dated to some. The driver’s seat is height adjustable, and the steering wheel adjusts for both rake and reach-so drivers of all ...

( 2006 – ) The Peugeot 207 is produced since 2006. It replaced the Peugeot 206 . Engine sizes and power outputs are par for the small-car course, but choose carefully, because the 207 is on the hefty side. The sweet 90 hp 1.4 really suits the car, but if you need something stronger, try one of the diesels. Ride and handling used to be Peugeot’s forte, and the 207 shows it’s back on track. The electric power steering is light at low speed but weights up as you increase pace, and the car changes direction eagerly. The ride is supple and controlled in all models, but best with 15-inch wheels. Refinement is another strong point of the 207. Noise from most sources is almost ...

Peugeot 207 GTi road test – Next Car Pty Ltd – 24th April, 2008

Amongst automotive expressions, several terms excite enthusiasts more than others. One such term is GTi. The GTi ‘monicker’ is not exclusive to any particular car company, but it is certainly exclusive to some great cars. And that includes the current Peugeot 207. Peugeot, the French car company, has been around longer than I have been. And over the years they have earned a great deal of respect for their sporty cars. One such sporty number was the Peugeot 205 GTi from the latter 1980s. The tradition continued with the outstanding 206 GTi. But the times keep moving ahead and these days Peugeot are up to their old tricks again. Now Peugeot has the new 207 GTi out on the streets. ...

Peugeot 207 GTI Review

& ldquo; making Porsche-type performance available to the inexperienced, incompetent, ghetto-blasting hooligan near you” Twentysomethings who demand a motor with zip find themselves barred by crippling insurance costs, not to mention the fact that cars with a modicum of poke are very expensive. Twentysomethings are also less likely to have worked their way up the corporate ladder far enough to get their hands on a company-provided vehicle, with all these exorbitant costs absorbed. If they do qualify for a car at all, it is more likely to be a bog-standard, basic, under-powered Vauxhall Vectra or its equivalent. Introducing the Peugeot GTi THP 175, which goes like stink, doesn’t ...
