Skoda Yeti 2012 vs Chevrolet Captiva: The Yeti is the cheapest in its segment and class making it hugely tempting. The Chevrolet Captiva is better looking with its bold looks, modern interiors, style and the option of auto gear as well. The Skoda Yeti is value for money with its practicality, versatility and pricing.

The Chevrolet Captiva is slightly powerful but both the cars however have the same five gears with extra auto gear option as mentioned for the Captiva. Both the cars have the same torque while the Skoda Yeti is considerably lighter in weight.

Skoda Yeti 2012 vs Mahindra XUV500: The Mahindra XUV500 is any day the budget friendly compared to the Yeti. The Mahindra XUV500 scores with its looks, price and brand value. However the XUV500 has poor interior trim quality for a vehicle of its class. The XUV500 is also slightly powerful over the Skoda Yeti and has six gears compared to the five of Yeti.

The XUV500 is however heavier compared to the Yeti. The Yeti is far better in terms of the mileage by over 5 km compared to the XUV500 which delivers just 12km.

In terms of the space the XUV 500 is bigger, wider and taller compared to the former. It also has a wider wheelbase, ground clearance. Even the front and rear tracks are wider compared to the Yeti.

The Skoda Yeti has 416 litres of boot space. The XUV500 seats seven people and also a larger fuel tank capacity. Clearly the XUV500 is a clear cut winner on almost every front.

Skoda Yeti 2012 vs Mahindra Xylo: The Mahindra Xylo is available at half the price of the Skoda Yeti .The Mahindra Xylo has better drive ability, space, interiors and a competitive pricing to round off the benefits. However the Yeti punches back with better looks, overall package and a better mileage.

The Mahindra Xylo is longer while the Skoda Yeti is wider and taller compared to the former.  The Mahindra Xylo has a better road presence with a wider wheelbase. The Skoda Yeti however has a better ground clearance.

The Yeti also has a better boot space and fuel tank capacity. In terms of the interior capacity both the cars occupy five occupants.
