Skoda Superb

The recently Skoda Superb is a very family Hatchback and Estate it has limousine sized rear space and luxury well its price tag, particularly in trim. The Superb has been luxury car of the year by Top Gear and the wheel drive estate was awarded towing car of the year by the Caravan Club.

The Superb#8217;s commodity is space and comfort, is excellent in front and rear and the position welcoming thanks to a range of adjustment in both the and steering wheel. The Superb is agile for a big car, in both and hatchback forms. It has consistently accurate steering and good control.

The Superb is at its best on the motorway, effortlessly stable and keeping and road noise at bay.

The Superb, despite looking a saloon car,  has a wonderful up its sleeve, what appears to be a boot can convert into a making loading large into the car a breeze, the rear can also fold flat to an enormous load space the capacity from an impressive 595 up to an astonishing 1,700 litres. The version trumps this boot space increasing to 633 or 1,865litres with the rear flat.

The interior of the Superb is a place to be and the level of  standard complements the car, entry #8216;S#8217; models offer alloy wheels, air-conditioning, control, 7-airbags, multi leather steering wheel, fog lights, all round electric electric heated door bluetooth phone connectivity and LED lights, the #8216;SE#8217; increases the levels of comfort with alloys, alcantara upholstery, parking sensors, touchscreen stereo with integrated 6CD and dual-zone air-conditioning. Elegance is the top as a mobility car offering 18#8243; full leather upholstery, touchscreen satellite navigation, adjustable heated driver and seats and bi-xenon lights LED running lights.

There are both petrol and engines available, the entry petrol engine is only 1.4 but still manages to pull big car around comfortably and the 1.8 petrol is enough but it is the diesel engines are the better fit for such a large the 1.6 litre diesel unit, it only produces 105 brake power it can get you to 62 miles per hour in seconds and on to a top speed of 117 miles per as well as 61.4 miles per or 65.7 in Greenline form, the is well balanced and power is delivered. The larger two litre (140 or 170bhp) is our pick, with a six speed manual or six DSG automatic in either front or all drive the 140bhp will the car to 62 mph in 10 seconds and the larger unit in 8.6 economy is excellent in either 61.4 mpg for the 140bhp as a manual or as an automatic, the 170 can return 60.1 mpg or as an automatic. As a four wheel car the 140 engine is available only a manual

gearbox (53.3 mpg) and the 170 as an automatic (49.6 mpg)
