What is Hill Descent Control (HDC) ?

Hill Descent Control (HDC) automatically controls and maintains the speed of the vehicle while going downhill, so that the driver can concentrate on the steering wheel and can land the vehicle safely without any hassles.

How does the HDC Work ?

When the HDC button is switched on, the vehicle will automatically switch on to a speed of about 7 km/h without any driver input while driving downhill but if the driver needs to pedal in more or less speed, he can throttle with the accelerator pedal and can also use the brake pedal. If the driver is off the pedals, then the HDC system will again automatically switch to a speed of about 7 km/h.
