SEAT Ibiza ST 1.2 TSI 105PS SE Stop-Start date).’ (Review date: 28th Nov 2013 at 13:12 )

Rating: ( 4 / 5 )

I have had no massive problems in the 24 months since buying the Ibiza and I have done roughly 8000 miles in it. The Seat Ibiza doesnt feel any better or worse than my last C4.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by J Estrada

Road tax has always been a big Government joke but It’s not too bad with the Ibiza. Seat has surpassed all expectations with the this car’s handling. The Ibiza handles amazingly.

I sold my Volvo V50 to purchase get the Seat Ibiza and it was a brilliant choice.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Cooper

I used to whinge about my C3, but compared to the Ibiza it was a superb car. Really let down by the Ibiza. Ive just read that the Ibiza is supposed to do 80.7 miles per gallon. Well, Seat, I can assure you that mine doesn’t get anywhere close to that figure.

Granted, I might not be the most conservative driver on the planet but the performance of my Ibiza is utterly rubbish.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by S Kline

I’ve clocked up 3500 miles in this awful car and thats 3500 too many. I want my old Suzuki SX4 back. This cars supposed to do 65.7 miles per galon?

Is that supposed to be a laugh? we’ll see the toothfairy coming to dinner before the Ibiza ever runs at that level. ive tried child’s bikes that handle better than the Ibiza. I would not recommend this car as long as I live, not even to someone I hate.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by A Munoz

The Ibiza costs a fair amount in road tax but you cannot really blame Seat for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is lower than it is with similar models I’ve owned in the past.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Sean Hunter

I had a minor issue with the windscreen wipers turning off, Seat sorted it rapido with no fuss. I moved from a Nissan Note to the Seat Ibiza and it definitely feels like an epic upgrade. One of the key reasons I chose it was that the official figures said it would go at 53.3 which seemed relatively decent to me but I’m sure that I’m getting more than that. most awesome piece of work.

I’m really pleased with the Ibiza.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Alice

In 13 months I’ve clocked up 2500 miles in the Ibiza and have zero problems with it at all. Seat gets my recommendation for the Ibiza and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a easy to maintain car. The Ibiza enjoys incredible handling compared to my last Volkswagen Golf and actually literally any other car I’ve ever driven.

The mpg is quoted at 53.3 mpg however in my experience it could be loads more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Tucker

I am besotted with this car. I’ve driven 7000 in the Ibiza and with every mile I appreciate it a little more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Nyla

I have been recommending the Ibiza to anyone i meet. I should be on commission from Seat. I had a small problem with the door closing, Seat sorted it rapido with no fuss.

I just looked up that the official mpg it is supposed to be running at is 80.7 which shocks me cos Im absolutely getting more from mine. In 20 months Ive driven 3000 miles in the Ibiza and have literally no complaints with it at all. Wow the Ibiza has handling like like something much more expensive than it actually it.

Amazing.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Blake R

I can’t really moan about the road tax cost with the Ibiza. It could be far worse. I was told that the official miles per gallon figure for the Ibiza was 53.3 but I am sure that Im getting way more from mine. Oh my god the Ibiza is great.

I did have a problem with the child locking and got in touch with Seat. I was very embarassed to be advised that the problem was actually related to something silly that I was doing. Yes it was my fault after all, but Seat were really great about it all.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Timothy

I’d heard that the Ibiza handles amazingly but even with those expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised. The handling is fantastic. The Ibiza sets me back a fair amount in road tax but you cannot totally blame Seat for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is lower than it has been with other models I’ve driven before this one. most awesome piece of work. I’m totally pleased with the Ibiza.

If youre wanting a brilliant value ride with decent road tax costs, I’d definitely recommend the Ibiza. Ive done 19500 in the Ibiza and with every mile I love it even more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Patricia Cantrell

Without a doubt piece of work. I’m really happy with the Ibiza. One of the main reasons I chose it was that the official stats said it would run at 80.7 which seemed pretty decent to me but im sure that im getting a better performance than that.

My old T5 was a reliable little ride but the Ibiza blows it out of the water.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Kayla

The Ibiza is a special car. The handling phenomenally well and way better than I was expecting for what I paid of the car. Ive done 16000 in the Ibiza and everyday I love it even more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Jonathan

The only problem I encountered was a slight one where fuel light was coming on unnecessarily but as soon as got in touch with Seat they got it sorted immediately and were incredibly understanding about the whole thing. The handling very well and much better than I was expecting for what I paid of the car. As you can probably gather that road tax is great for the Ibiza.

One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official figures said it would go at 80.7 which seemed pretty decent to me but i am sure that i am getting more than that.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Ruben

I sold my Avensis to purchase get the Seat Ibiza and it was an awesome decision. absolutely recommend the Ibiza to friends.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Kiana P

It has the handling of a giant lawn mower. Awful. I wouldn’t recommend this car ever, not even to people I dislike. I really feel pissed with my Ibiza. Oh I wish I could have my old C1 back.

The Ibiza is awful. Ive had nothing but problems since I got it and truthfully it feels like Seat doesn’t give a shit. fuel economy isn’t anything to write home about, about 23mpg.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Jaxson Garrison

My last vehicle was a Kangoo and as much as I really liked it, my new Ibiza is incredible. There’s no chance I would go back. Seat has surpassed everyone with the the handling. The Ibiza handles like a dream. It had one tiny defect with the rear window closing.

I called Seat and it was dealt with swiftly. I really wouldn’t switch the Ibiza for any other car. Great ride.

I was told that the official mpg stat for the Ibiza was 47.9 but I reckon that Im getting even better performance from mine.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Briana Middleton

I’ve been disappointed by this car. Ive had issue after issue. If only I had gone for the Audi A5. Ive just read that the Ibiza is supposed to do 55.4 mpg. Well, Seat, I can assure you that mine doesn’t get anywhere close to that figure.

I accept that I may not be the most conservative driver in the world but the performance of my Ibiza is absolutely awful. Ive done 19000 miles in this awful car and that’s 19000 too many. I want my old Audi A5 back.

The only people Id recommend the Ibiza to are people who I don’t like. The Ibiza costs me a fair amount in road tax but you can’t really blame Seat for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is less than it is with other models i’ve drove before.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Alessandra M

My drives are usually quite short and I’m averaging around 45 mpg on average. ive driven approximately 13500 miles in the 20 months since I picked up the Ibiza.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Chance

The Ibiza is fine for me. It’s definitely not the best ride on the market and doesnt exactly give me any reason to recommend it to everyone I know but I’ve had enough problematic cars in my time to appreciate the fact that the Ibiza doesnt have any major probs. Overall its decent.

No major issues. The Seat Ibiza doesnt seem any better or worse than my last Rolls-royce Phantom. I’ve covered 19500 miles in 11 months.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Sawyer

The handling brilliantly well and way better than I was expecting for the value of the car. I just looked up that the official mpg it should be doing is 70.6 which shocks me cos Im positive that I am getting a better performance than that from mine. In 11 months ive clocked up 6000 miles in the Ibiza and have encountered no complaints with it in any sense of the word. After a small glitch with the window opening, Seat sorted it very quickly with no fuss.

Oh god the Ibiza is so good.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Casey Orr

I did have a problem with the child locking and got in touch with Seat. I was somewhat embarrassed to be advised that the problem was in actual fact down to something silly that I was doing. Yes it was my own fault after all, but Seat were really great about it all. I’d definitely recommend the Ibiza to friends and family.

My old Shogun was a perfectly acceptable little ride but the Ibiza blows it out of the water. The Ibiza costs a reasonable amount in road tax but I can’t totally blame Seat for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is less than it is with similar models I’ve owned before this one.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Marcos M

It has not given me any real faults. The Seat Ibiza doesn’t feel any better or worse than my last Caddy. When I got my Ibiza I was told that Seat advertised is as doing 65.7 miles for every gallon of fuel and Ive found that this is fair.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by R Higgins

Amazing work, Seat. I wouldn’t even question recommending the Ibiza to everyone. Road tax is approximately what i might expect from a car like this.

It was a bit of toss up for me between the Seat Ibiza and a Bmw 3 Series. I absolutely made a great choice by picking the Ibiza. There was a little flaw with the clutch when I initially got it but Seat were ace in fixing it for me.

Seat has surpassed everyone with the the handling. The Ibiza handles like a Ferrari.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Kiley

I’ve already been recommending the Ibiza to everyone I talk to. I should negotiate commission from Seat. I just looked up that the official mpg it is supposed to be running at is 65.7 which surprises me cos I’m definitely getting more from mine.

My old Nissan Note was a reliable little ride but the Ibiza made it easy to forget all about the old one. The only problem I had was a slight one where fuel light was coming on unnecessarily but as soon as raised the issue with Seat they sorted it straight away and were incredibly sorry about everything. Road tax is approximately what you may expect from a car like this.

Just buy this car, you won’t look back.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Julio

I don’t go out of my way to recommend the Ibiza with people I know but if they asked I would tell them that it’s a pretty decent car. I am driving to and from work every day so covering a fair amount of miles and I reckon I am getting pretty close to the 53.3 miles to the gallon mark which is what it should be. Any issues I have encountered have been very insignificant so nothing to really talk about.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by M Smith

Amazing job, Seat. I wouldn’t think twice recommending the Ibiza to friends and family. One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official stats said it would go at 65.7 which seemed relatively decent to me but i’m sure that i’m getting more than that. I moved from a Suzuki Vitara and haven’t looked back.

The Ibiza costs me a reasonable amount in road tax but you cannot really blame Seat for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is less than it is with different models i’ve drove in the past. It handles really well and way better than I was expecting for what I paid of the car.

Since purchasing the Ibiza I have done about 19500 miles and absolutely love it.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by D Cooper

I gave my previous Bmw 1 Series to my other half who is now hinting at my new Ibiza. No chance Im letting it go though. It had one minor flaw with the front window closing.

I contacted Seat and it was sorted quickly. One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official figures said it would go at 70.6 which seemed fairly decent to me but im certain that im getting a better performance than that. In 6 months Ive covered 11500 miles in the Ibiza and have nada issues with it in any sense of the word.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Raul C

The only person Id recommend the Ibiza to are people who I hate. This car is supposed to do 65.7 miles per galon? Is that supposed to be a joke? I will see the toothfairy coming to dinner before the Ibiza ever runs at that level.

The door don’t open as they should and Seat’s customer service is poor at best. I shouldnt really complain about the road tax bill with the Ibiza. It could be far worse. The best advise I can give you about the Ibiza is don’t even consider buying it.

Unless you are looking for a set of wheels that will give you migraines over and over again. Me and my Ibiza have now been tolerating one another for 23 months and we’ve gone 19500 miles or so. Unfortunately I could swear it is more like 23 years and every single moment I spend in it I dislike it a little more.

I despised my last Ford Focus but I dislike the Ibiza even more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by M Barrett

Ive done 7000 in the Ibiza and every time I drive it I love it just a bit more. Seat has surpassed everyone with the the handling. The Ibiza handles amazingly. It had one little defect with the front window opening.

I called Seat and it was dealt with swiftly. The fuel economy is quoted at 80.7mpg however in my opinion it’s much more. If you are wanting a great value vehicle with decent road tax costs, I would definitely recommend the Ibiza. I owned a Megane for years and really did adore it. But the Ibiza is much better.

It was a bit of dilemma for me between the Seat Ibiza and a Megane. I absolutely made a great choice in going with the Ibiza.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Walter Velez

i’ve covered 19000 miles in this terrible car and thats 19000 too many. I want my old A8 back. I have had this ongoing problem with the handbrake and despite a number of telephone calls with Seat I still haven’t had the problem dealt with.

It’s a complete joke. ive tried childrens bicycles that have better handling than the Ibiza. The Ibiza is not just expensive to purchase but also results in a ridiculous road tax bill. For the cost, I don’t think the Ibiza is worth it.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Javier

I don’t have any notable issues about the Ibiza. Not. ive had no massive problems in the 23 months since getting the Ibiza and ive gone roughly 12000 miles in it. Not sure whether or not I prefer my Ibiza over my previous Audi A6. Im not sure if I would recommend the Ibiza. It is fine but its not the greatest car in the world.

The handling is alright and much like the Audi A6. My drives are mainly minimal and I’m getting around 45 mpg on average.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Nickolas

The Ibiza boasts brilliant handling in relation to my last Toyota iQ and in fact quite literally any other vehicle I’ve ever driven. i have done about 11000 miles in the 15 months since buying it and its definitely the best car i have owned. Seat gets my thumbs up for the Ibiza and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a fuel efficient car.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Johnny

Id 100% recommend the Ibiza to family and friends. I’ve done 9000 miles in this car and it keeps getting better and better.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by S Griffith

Undoubtedly, this is Seat’s

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Henry Davies

My last ride was a Vito and while I loved it, my new Ibiza is is a new level of amazing. There’s no chance I would go back. Just buy this car, you will not look back.

I had a weird problem with the windscreen wipers turning on and off automatically which was a bit niggling but the person I spoke to atSeat got it dealt with ridiculously speedily with no questions so I really can’ criticise. Ive done about 19500 miles in the 9 months since picking up it and its certainly the best car Ive owned. Amazing job, Seat.

I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Ibiza to friends and family.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by J Foster

My old SX4 was a good car, but this is better. I’ve driven 15500 in the Ibiza and every day I love it even more.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Edward R

I dont know if I would recommend the Ibiza. I believe Seat has designed a decent model but there’s undoubtedly more impressive cars to be had. The Seat Ibiza has alright handling weighed up against what it costs.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Derek C

The official numbers would have you believe that the Ibiza will deliver 53.3 miles to the gallon however i am without a doubt getting way more from mine. Oh god the Ibiza is good. I would definitely recommend the Ibiza to family.

I moved from a Cube to the Seat Ibiza and it absolutely feels like an amazing upgrade.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by K Parker

The 16500 miles ive driven in the Ibiza have taught me that theres nothing to hate about it but nothing to particularly adore either. I don’t have any real problems about the Ibiza. It isn’t bad.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Sasha Jensen

I get about 85 mpg on average, so can’t complain. Im unsure if I would recommend the Ibiza. It is alright but it’s not the most amazing car on earth.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Alayna G

I love this car. In 21 months Ive covered 10500 miles in the Ibiza and have zero issues with it at all. Seat gets my recomendation for the Ibiza and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a easy to maintain car.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by Zachery Reynolds

After a slight glitch with the window closing, Seat sorted it quickly with no quibbles. I have been recommending the Ibiza to anyone I meet. I feel I should be on commission from Seat.

SEAT Ibiza ST Car Review by L Alvarez

It handles like no other car I’ve owned. My old Octavia was a reliable little ride but the Ibiza blows it out of the water. There was a minuscule problem with the indicator lights when I initially got it but Seat were ace in fixing it for me.

I’ve already recomended the Ibiza to anyone I talk to. I should negotiate commission from Seat. I just looked up that the official miles to the gallon it should be doing is 70.6 which surprises me because Im positive that I am getting a better performance than that from mine.
