Seat Arosa

The Seat Arosa is identically constructed with the VOLKSWAGEN Lupo, appeared however already 1997, thus before the Lupo. First it was offered with the 1,0-Liter-Ottomotor with 37 KW (50 HP) and with the 1,4-Liter-Aggregat with 44 KW (60 HP). The latter gave it for the time being however only with automatic transmission.

The Arosa is characterised by its small external dimensions and the relatively large interior. It has 4 seats with small trunk, whereby the back bank can be also still turned down. A fuel consumption of 6,5 litres gasoline in the city traffic (91/95 RON) (of empirical values) has the 1.0 l-version.

At the end of of 2004 was stopped the production of the Seat Arosa.

The Motortuning specialist Wolfgang ruffle extended the Arosa by turbocharger, light run tire and control electronics for the engine. Electronics measures within one second several times, how much gasoline is used exactly, then could the consumption of 4,9 to 3,4 litres be lowered.

There are 2 programs, so that alternatively also an increase in output can be connected, the car has then more achievement than the standard model with smaller consumption.
