Redesigned for 2014, the Lexus GX 460 luxury utility vehicle will have two available trim levels, Standard and Luxury, with starting prices of $49,085 and $60,715, respectively.

Powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine paired with a 6-speed Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence, the 2014 Lexus GX 460 generates an impressive 301 horsepower. Four-wheel drive is standard and uses an electronically controlled transfer case and a TORSEN torque-sensing limited slip differential, which can be locked electronically.

The TORSEN system will automatically redistributes power depending on the driving situation. The standard Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System improves handling and helps minimize body-lean during heavy turning.

Inside, the GX 460 will be host to a luxurious and spacious cabin, along with an 8-inch touch-screen audio display, backup monitor, HD Radio, Bluetooth, automatic phone book sync, vehicle information display, complimentary traffic display, and weather data display. The old wood trim in the cabin has been replaced with a newer linear espresso wood/abyss black trim. With all these features, the 2014 GX 460 costs $4,710 less than the 2013 model.

As an option, the GX 460 features a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
