I have at least one example of every 911 Turbo to go on sale since the car was shown 40 years this This might sound a proud boast, but I mention it now to make a point: in all those I never drove one I preferred to the normally aspirated car upon it was based.

These numbers say nothing of how this performance is, how effortlessly placed on the road and how entirely this experience is once got used to its shattering punch.

So I’m sad to say I don’t want one, at not like I want a standard available for half the money. I a 911 to be simple and I want it to be narrow. I its engine to sing to me and I want the experience to challenge me. This car none of these things.

It’s the first 911 coupé to broach 1600kg and for all its speed it heavy, bloated and uninvolving to I’d also point out that its has no place in a car costing this

But I don’t think this car is by people like me, even who have the money. I think a car for those who need not a 911 but a weapon, a car near Bugatti Veyron of punch off the line, that’ll comfortably at light aircraft yet which you can leave in the street reasonable confidence it’ll be there tomorrow. And for them, I must admit there is else to touch it in the world.
