vs Seat Toledo

The Peugeot 1007 is a mini MPV manufactured by the French maker Peugeot since 2004. It is based on the Peugeot 207 and Citroen C3 platform.

The Peugeot 1007‘s original layout features two performance sliding doors (as in a big MPV) rather than traditional hinged doors for easier access in cramped spaces and on hills. The vehicle also features user-swappable Cameleo dashboard trim pieces which cost around €250 for a set.

Another innovation is the auxillary 2-tronic semi-automatic transmission (though a alike system was used on the Hudson Commodore of the 1950s, albeit using a vacuum shift), which shares the 206’s 1. 4 L and 1. 6 L petrol engines and 1. 4 L diesel engines. For its size, the Peugeot 1007 is expensive, with prices around €14000, / ВЈ10000,.

6 L (1587 cc) TU5 I4, 110 PS (108 hp/81 Kw) and 110 ftВ·lbf (147 NВ·m).

The Peugeot 1007 is the first mainstream vehicle from Peugeot to option a double zero number. In English-speaking countries, the name is correctly pronounced ten-oh-seven, as one-double-oh-seven was not allowed because of the James Bond film franchise holding copyright to the phrase double-oh-seven. In France it is marketed as the mille-sept.

The Seat Toledo is an automobile built and marketed by Seat, a division of the Volkswagen Group. The Seat Toledo make name was first presented to the Seat line-up in 1991, and the third generation was presented in late 2004.

The Seat Toledo was the first Seat designed completely under Volkswagen leadership. The first generation was a saloon built on the Volkswagen Golf Mk II chassis, but with an extended boot, very close in size to the Passat. As saloon versions of small family vehicles were rare in Europe, it was considered by many a big family vehicle thanks to its size (despite having smaller back space and pricing closer to small family cars).

The Seat Toledo initially featured underpowered engines (standard for Volkswagen at the time) compared to the Ibiza and Malaga’s System Porsche units, such as a base 1. 6 L with 75 PS (55 Kw) and a GT version using the 2. 0L/115 PS (85 Kw) motor. Later the Seat Toledo would see the addition of more comprehensive versions, including a 150 PS (110 Kw) 2. 0L GTI 16V and 110 PS (81 Kw) 1. 9 TDI which, like many VAG diesels built since 1996, it is advertised as capable of running on both mineral diesel and biodiesel.

In spite of having a saloon body, the first generation Seat Toledo was unusual in that it featured a hatchback boot opening. The Spanish vehicle received a mild facelift in 1996.
