Nissan Altimas are First Cars Deployed for NYPD

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly deployed 40 Nissan Altima as the first alternative fuel to be used as marked and unmarked cars in the Police Department#8217;s The Altima Hybrids have assigned to areas of the city their fuel efficiency the greatest economic and environmental #8211; both in precincts a large coverage area and precincts prone to heavy traffic.
