Details: RE: MY 2004 QUEST-HAVE HAD SAME PROBLEM FOR ALMOST 1 YR DEALER HAS NOT FIXED IT IN 5 ON 7/21/04, BROUGHT MY VAN IN FOR SERVICE AN ALARM BEEPER WOULD GO OFF WHEN DRIVING-COMES FROM POWER LIFTGATE. BESIDES THE BEEPING, AT TIMES THE LIFTGATE NOT OPEN, ALSO WHEN THE LIFTGATE WILL NOT CLOSE THE POWER BUTTONS-THEN LIFTGATE TO BE SHUT MANUALLY.

AT MY 7/21/04 APPT, THE DEALER ORDERED A THAT WOULD BE INSTALLED TO FIX BEEPING. PICKED THE VAN UP ABOUT PM, GOT GROCERIES, PICKED UP DAUGHTER HOME. ON THE WAY THE VAN WAS BEEPING ALL THE WAY WHEN A FLASHING WARNING LIGHT ON THAT SAID WARNING GATE OPEN.

I PANICKED MY LIFT GATE WAS ABOUT TO FLY I PULLED OVER CONFUSED LIFTGATE WAS NOT OPEN. I PUSHED CONTROL FOR LIFT GATE BUT DID NOT OPEN. THINKING I WAS TEMP. OK, I DROVE HOME W/ FLASHING SIGNAL ON WHOLE TIME.

I GOT HOME-TRIED TO OPEN LIFTGATE. IT BUDGE-NOT W/ POWER CONTROLS VAN NOR KEY FOB. IT WOULDN’T OPEN EITHER. AT THAT POINT, I WAS TO DRIVE VAN ANY FURTHER.

WAS WELL 5 PM THE SERVICE DEPT WOULD BE BUT I CALLED THEM ANYWAY. I TO JOHN NELSON, SALES MGR WHAT HAPPENED. TOLD HIM I WAS TO DRIVE VAN BECAUSE OF WARNING BUT CAN’T SEEM TO OPEN/CLOSE EITHER. HE ASSURED ME THAT VAN HAS MECHANISMS THAT WOULD DOOR FROM FLYING WHILE DRIVING.

I TOLD HIM IT WAS HARD TO BELIEVE VAN WAS SAFE IT SEEMED WARNING LIGHTS MALFUNCTIONING. SINCE 7/21/04 THE LIGHT HAS NOT COME ON AGAIN. BUT THE THAT PRECEDED THE WARNING CONSTANT BEEPING-STILL HAPPENS ALL THE BUT ONLY WHEN IT’S

SINCE I LIVE IN WI NOV 04-MAR 05 WAS FREE. DON’T KNOW IF WILL REALLY FLY OPEN, BUT I QUEST ALREADY HAD RECALL FOR PROBLEM-SLIDING DOORS NOT LATCHING IN WEATHER. *JB

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Details: WE GOT THE CAR IN DEC BETWEEN FEB 2004 AND APRIL THE CAR HAD 5-6 HARD STARS; IN MOST IT TOOK LESS THAN 5 TO HAVE IT STARTED AND ONLY ONE MORE THAN AN HOUR. I IT THERE AND CAME BACK 5 H.—IT STARTED RIGHT ALL THIS HAPPENED IN HOUSTON TX. DEC 20 IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE IN PENNSYLVANIA, DAY OF OUR HOLYDAY VACATION.

I?VE TO START IT FOR MORE THAN 3 UNTIL THE BATTERY WENT FINALLY THE DEALER PICKED IT UP. ABOUT 10 DAY THE NISSAN ?TRAINED? MECHANIC COMES UP WITH THE NO PROBLEM WITH THE CAR, YOU FLOODED!

IT IS NOT GOING TO BE COVERED BY THE YOU DON?T HAVE TO BE A MECHANIC TO THAT AN INJECTION ENGINE BE FLOODED UNLESS THE CAR HAS A PROBLEM ( NO INJECTORS LICKS, OFF TIMING?). CAR THE RADIO/CD SOMETIMES JUST PLAY; THE POWER IS ON BUT NO SOUND. AFTER 5- 10 MINUTES WILL GO ON.

THE AC FAN CAME LOOSE AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. (AT THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT AND HAD BEEN FIXED!) NICE CAR BUT I TO FILE FOR LEMON. I PAY FOR A NEW CAR AND I EXPECT IT TO WHEN I NEED IT NOT WHEN IT LIKE?*AK

Details: WE PURCHASED OUR 2004 QUEST ON OCTOBER 6TH, THIS WAS A VEHICLE THAT WE TO GET FOR OUR FAMILY AFTER REVIEWING INFORMATION ETC. NOT EVEN TWO AFTER WE HAD FINALIZED THE SALE, FLUID WAS ALL OVER A PARKING LOT DUE TO A CLAMP NOT BEING REPLACED AT THE

OUR VAN WOULD NOT START AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE IN ORDER FOR EVERYTHING TO BE CHECKED OUR SECOND INCIDENT HAPPENED A WEEK AGO AND WE ARE VERY LUCKY THERE WEREN’T ANY INJURIES TO WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE AND WITH THE ACCELERATOR FLOORED OUR VAN NOT GO OVER 55 MPH.

ON A MAIN THIS IS NOT SAFE DUE TO OTHER DOING ABOVE THE SPEED OR WELL ABOVE. WE TRIED TO IT TO OUR DEALERSHIP BUT WITH IT BEING BUSINESS HOURS THERE WAS NO WAY WE WOULD HAVE BEEN TO MEET WITH A SERVICE THE NEXT MORNING WHEN WE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT WAS AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED.

I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS CAR AND CAN’T THAT IN LESS THAN A WE ARE TAKING IT IN AGAIN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO IT WORKED ON. LUCKILY OUR DEALERSHIP HAS ABOVE WHAT WE ASKED AND HAS THEIR BEST TO WORK US, BUT WITHOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND THIS NOT BEING INVESTIGATED IS LITTLE THAT THEY CAN DO TO THE PROBLEM TO FIX IT.

THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE CAR WE HAVE BOUGHT EVER AND IS THE MOST TIMES THAT WE TAKEN IN A CAR FOR PROBLEMS IN SUCH TIME. WITH TWO SMALL WE THOUGHT THAT THIS VAN BE THE MOST ECONOMICAL AND SAFE THAT WE COULD AFFORD FOR OUR BUT WE ARE SADLY LEARNING THAT ARE UNDERLYING PROBLEMS THAT TO BE OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AND TAKEN OF BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO IT WOULD BE DISAPPOINTING AND SAD TO SEE IF THIS IS WHAT IT TAKES FOR NISSAN TO SUCH COMPLAINTS. *JB

Details: WE PURCHASED VAN IN SEP OF 2003. AT THE END OF OCT I WENT OUT TO LEAVE FOR AND THE VAN WOULDN’T START. WE HAD IT TOWED (MY TO THE DEALER.

ONCE IT ARRIVED IT STARTED FINE. A COUPLE LATER IT DID THE SAME THING AND WE WAITED UNTIL IT WARMED UP AND IT JUST FINE. WE DISCOVERED IT WAS DOING THIS WHEN THE WAS BELOW 34 DEGREES. WE AGAIN IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY KEPT THE VAN FOR 2 1/2

THEY FINALLY TOLD US THEY WERE FLYING IN A FROM CALIFORNIA TO CHANGE THE PUMP. HAVEN’T HAD THIS UNTIL NOW. AGAIN WEEK I WENT TO LEAVE FOR AND IT WOULDN’T START. (NOW 80 DEGREES OUTSIDE) THE WRECKER TO START IT 3 HOURS LATER AND IT WOULDN’T START. BUT AFTER TOWED AND BOUNCED AROUND IT AGAIN.

THE DEALER HAS KEPT THE VAN AND IS GOING TO CHANGE THE FUEL AGAIN. IN BETWEEN THESE 3 WE HAVE HAD TO TAKE IT IN NUMEROUS BECAUSE THE VAN WOULD HAVE NO AND START OFF IN 2ND OR 3RD GEAR. EACH WE TOOK IT IN WE WERE TOLD NISSAN KNEW IT WAS A PROBLEM JUST HADN’T FIGURED OUT HOW TO FIX IT

THIS WAS FINALLY FIXED 2 AGO. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VAN IN THE DRIVER WINDOW STUTTERS AS ROLLED DOWN, THE DOORS PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING STICKS AND DIFFICULT TO OPEN, AND THE UNDER THE DRIVERS PEDDLES WAS CUT TOO AND KEPT PULLING LOOSE. TIME I TAKE IT IN I’M THAT THERE IS NOTHING CAN BE DONE.

FOR THE WINDOW STUTTERING, TOLD ME IT WAS THE WINDOW TINTING THE PASSENGER WINDOW IS FINE) WE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THIS WE ARE ONE STEP AWAY FROM THE LEMON LAW. IT STATES IF THE VEHICLE HAS TO BE TAKEN IN FOR 4 TIMES FOR THE PROBLEM IN A YEAR IT’S A

WELL, WE ARE ON OUR 3RD VISIT NOW. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE THIS VAN. *JB
