General impressions:

Before, I had Crowns of 90-91 year of origin, Camry 92, later Pajero 94, 3-liter, and now, after I sold that, we have been looking for and have found MMC PAJERO 3.5 liter of year 1996.

It is exactly two years today that I possess this car. I was taking care of it, changing everything in time – spark plugs (only platinum for the 3.5-liter engine) and using MOBIL1 RALLY FORMULA Full synthetic oil and NISHIMBO pads.

Now I decided to sell this car, I want to buy Pajero again, only in a new body, but this specimen here is perfect.

PS: Some more notes about the suspension. Right after I bought the car I put it for diagnostics and necessary adjustments, 2 years passed and yesterday I took it to Service for suspension diagnostics, and what do you think, I was surprised myself, but the master said there was no free play, only the steering system needed tightening and greasing, and some rubber things for stabilizers required replacement (they just wore out)))

I RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO DECIDED TO BUY A JEEP: BUY PAJERO WITHOUT HESITATION.

What I like in this car:

Pajero is a very good car in all parameters.

Salon: I got a Pajero in the most expensive arrangement:

Leather beige salon, seat heating, automatic hatch, TV, navigation, CD in the front, CD-changer for 10 disks, FM – all are controlled from a sensor monitor (you press a finger on the display). In a tuning centre, they made the salon amber-like and painted it very beautifully. There is also a safety air-bag, cruise control, window heating, mirror heating and wiper heating.

Highway: the suspension has three deflection modes (hard, medium and soft), we switch HARD on and Pajero holds the road very well, and road seams are felt immediately))), on a highway it picks easily up its 180 km/h (it was very difficult on the 3-liter car; it did not run at all compared with the 3.5-liter car). The speed is not felt. you are just driving and when you take a look at the speedometer, you see 160 :-), acceleration is very dynamic, I think this engine is one of the best on Japanese jeeps.

It accelerates dashingly at any speed (for a jeep). Fuel consumption is 15-16 liters on a highway.

Cross-road ability: what can I say, SUPER SELECT – it’s a legend and it does its job well, 4WD can be engaged at a speed up to 100 km/h, and the modes are: 2WD, Full 4WD, 4WD with the master differential blocked and low 4WD with blocking. It’s a fun to drive in winter, it allows very fast riding, ABS helps to brake, and the tires are now Dunlop 275×16 instead of standard 265.

In-city: if the suspension is in the SOFT mode, the car is very mild and imposing, seams and pits are not felt at all, but you can gambol a little: just switch HARD PWR on and Pajero becomes brutal, its dynamics is faster than that of many cars, even sports class vehicles.
