Where is the starter on a Mitsubishi 1995?

The starter is on the bottom and about in the middle of the car about two back from the front of the at the engine/transmission connection. To replace it you need to disconnect the battery and up the front of the car about 8-10

To remove the starter simply the positive cable from the post on the starter coil, remove the in connector located right to it(pull straight out) and the two screws from the back of the unit, that’s it.Installation is the reverse Ern

Answer

My wife has a 2003 Mitsubishi and I have to say that it is BY FAR the WORST car I ever seen. The brakes to need service (new every 5000 miles, gauge has never worked (we have given up and just the trip meter and fill up at 300 have to replace the o2 sensors, had to be rebuilt, it just never to idle correctly. the list on.

The worst thing (and many others have had the problem) was a major leak in the core at 55,000 miles soaked the inside of the car in addition to the ventilation system. A mess to say the Currently, the car has 83,000 miles and I cannot see it hitting 100,000. For the I am a weekend mechanic, am pretty at car maintenance and at least VERY at taking care of cars, so far as to a maintenance schedule.

It doesn’t matter with car. It is just awful. I $1000 cars for years and go back to that in a heartbeat. I had this much trouble, then. STAY AWAY.

^i put too much faith in this guy as he is generalizing based on only one car. I work exclusively on and performance modifications on the diamante and platform. the second gen diamante is not a car by anymeans in fact the bang for the is unsurpassed! Sorry for his bad experience but i one with 150k miles on it as my dd and it has needed basic maintenence i think his problem may be that he is he knows what he is doing these cars (they to be cared for very specifically with specific fluids) and it up worse. (also 50k in between on multiple occassion with cars, get quality products and treat you right)

I have an 03 Diamante also, and by it is the BEST car Ive ever owned in of maintenance and reliability. In saying Ive had a 89 Mazda Familia XG Turbo, GTiR, 98 BMW 318i (which was the of them all).

Its low maintenance, and decent sized for a family Maybe because the Diamante was assembled. or maybe because we got it new. I feel sorry for guy whos Diamante was giving him but as for mine, its been a great

Even pimped it up and looks

I have owned 2 Diamantes, one a gen 1995, and a second gen 2001, are not drive and forget type they are classified as semi-luxury, and have to be maintained to factory My first the 1995 was the best it was and handled unbelievable. The worst on the 1st gen was electronics, on the second gen they improved, not as many failures,

Probably the best used luxury bargain out there they depreciate so much, is standard for a Mitsubishi. When was available in the states it had a higher satisfaction rating than The Diamante that was produced in was called the Verada, and was not imported to the I had one when I lived there, and it did well built.

Sadly has had some great ideas but quality control is probably the their is. I have my 4th 1st gen Eclipse AWD, which is now a fast and tuner car, great bad quality the hallmark of Mitsu.
