Great car with MG Dealer service history and some valuable recent work.

THE GOOD STUFF:

Service history:

MG dealer stamped in MG service book.

Some receipts for things a while back.

Recent work carried out by an MG specialist.

New Thermostat fitted 10 Jan 2011

Oil and Water 10 Jan

Oil Filter 10Jan

Cam belt checked 10 Jan 2011

Valet (interior and exterior) 10 Jan 2011 £359.99

New fuel pump fitted Dec 2010 £99.99

in good condition – not perfect but perfection comes only with new cars. There are some minor (I really do mean minor) stone chips and tiny (again I really mean tiny and none even to the primer) scratches but nothing that detracts from the car and nothing you wouldn’t expect from a car of this age. I mention only becaues I value my 100% feedback and need to describe everything well here.

The only thing worth mentioning is that there is a small rust patch by the passenger side air vent. Easy to do if you wish to.

Again it’s in very good condition. I shampood the inside carpets and seats today and it looks great. I should have let it dry before I took the photos, as you can see the inside is wet.

Very Very good. Again, the car is such a low mileage example it should drive well shouldn’t it. I went out for a spin today and the car was responsive, tight, fun and engaging.

Just what you want from a sports car.

The system is VERY good. New brakes must have been fitted recently. I have owned a few MGs and they only feel like this if they are new / newish.

Dry as a bone and clean.

None. I have driven this car in the rain – one light rain and one downpour – nothing!

THE BAD STUFF:

The rear window has misted and cracked at the RHS top. I have a spare that I will include if the car makes sensible money. If not I will keep it for my own MGF.

The car sometimes overheats if you leave it stationery idling for long periods. and sometimes it doesn’t. I have been told that it may need a flush with a chemical flushing agent or a new radiator. Anyone that knows about these cars will know that it is a very quick and easy job.

Cheap too. New radiators are only £50.00 or so. £90 will buy you a stainless steel one.

Happy bidding and if you need to ask a question just email me.

I know many people are glued to their PCs but I have a very active life so will respond as quickly as I can – it won’t be 10 minutes though.

Cash on collection is ideal. PLEASE don’t pay through paypal I have had some very bad experiences. Thank you.

I have found out that ebay is great for some things – car selling is not one of them!

So please no timewasters, tyre kickers, test pilots, people who can’t pay, people who want to bid then haggle etc etc etc.

I WILL open a case. I WILL leave scathing feedback and I may even let your tyres down when you are asleep!

You get the idea – as per, it’s a case of the few ruining it for the many.

Perfect Wheels Rims. Ebay doesn’t seem to be publishing my answers at the moment. LOTS of you have asked this – There is NO kerbing at all on the wheel rims. NONE AT ALL.
