THE FINEST SALOON I HAVE DRIVEN, FORGET BMW!

I always been a masses fan, and for my birthday my family a Mercedes C-Class for me. Avis kindly upgraded me to an E-Class. I was a 2.1 turbo diesel, or maybe a 200

I was absolutely thrilled when I I had the 3.0i V6 engine.

The image, what can I say. I think car looks fantastic. It looks it looks sporty, it looks. I just think it’s got it

The previous shape E-Class very ‘square’ and bulky, but the new looks very sleak.

The is fantastic. There are loads of storage spaces, even a electronically opened hatch the gear selector. The quality of the used on the dash, the controls, and the are just what you would from a luxury saloon

The controls could seem a daunting to someone who has been to an older car with a lot less but nonetheless the controls are very laid out and easy to use.

The itself looks very of the art. The dials looks and in the very centre there is a which can be used to display speed digitally, the radio/CD trip counters, etc. very cleverly incorporates the control as well. Whereas a lot of other cars, your not sure what speed the control is set at; with the E-Class a of segments work their way the speedo to indicate the selected

The seats are very comfortable, but you would expect that. model also featured lighting which was great, and relaxing without being whilst driving.

The equipment are fantastic, again as you would

Loads of airbags, ABS, control with ASR (Acceleration Reduction), Cruise Control, Control, Automatic Headlights and 7 speed Tiptronic transmission. The one I was quite disappointed at was that the car did not parking sensors as standard, I would really expect on a car of calibre.

In terms of handling, it’s The traction control and ABS really together. The conditions whilst this car weren’t great, and so I turn the traction control off at any

But why would you want to when the car so beautifully with it on! It really make you feel very and secure, even on sharp and the suspension makes sure everyone in the car barely notices any of it on!

In terms of performance, well, is where I disappointed myself. I found out it was a 3.0 V6 I was quite nervous. The powerful car I had driven before was a 2.0 16V

Not to mention the price tag on this car have been around brand new. Therefore, I thrash the car or perform any kick-downs as I have liked. Nor did I really use the mode on the transmission.

However, one I will say is that it glides to high speeds (Not I will mention any particular here). I had an idea of how powerful car was through the cruise control. For on my journey there were a lot of roundabouts and then dual and so on.

I therefore had the cruise control set to and would simply turn it on after I was over the roundabouts. For I would have to slow to 40MPH. The point I’m to get to is that when turning the control back on, it really did me back into my seat and got to 70MPH very very without ease.

Whether was performing a kick-down is not something I be able to answer.

I was dreading the economy, especially as I was driving a large round trip! on a full tank of petrol, quite sensibly, I managed to use half a tank by doing 200 miles.

In terms of reliability, I cannot comment, as I only drove car for two days – but had no issues the car in any aspect!

This car is superb. I can dream that I would be to own one for myself. But for those of you with money to go and buy one of these, please do not consider an Audi or a BMW.

You can’t go wrong with the new E-Class.
