The Mercedes Benz Vito range comes in three different body designs and encompasses the Vito Panel Van, Vito Crewcab and Vito Crewbus. Each vehicle is further customisable with two different roof heights and powerful engines from 100kW to 165kW. The Vito range has been designed so that it can be adapted easily to meet specific business requirements by permitting vehicle configurations for a wide range of transport tasks and loading situations.

With the Vito Crewcab one can choose between passengers or cargo with room for up to six persons and a cargo volume of 4.5m³ and a load area of 2.29 m² behind the rear seat row. It has a wheelbase of 3200mm and is also available in 2 different roof heights. It can handle a payload of up to 955kg (optionally upgrading to 1295kg).

The Vito’s interior is a strong point with a car-like look and feel. Depending on Model variants specifications include: a four-spoke steering wheel, a colour audio screen and instrument cluster with chrome rings and Bluetooth connectivity for the phone. Under the bonnet Mercedes has upgraded its 2.2 litre CDI four and 3.0 litre six-cylinder turbo diesel engines, improving the performance and driving down the fuel consumption. The best fuel economy number is 7.4 litres per 100km for the four-cylinder. There is also an optional BlueEFFICIENCY package which further enhances fuel efficiency.

The Vito range has a newly developed suspension with the payload being raised in some variants.
