At $55,130, the Impreza WRX STi featured a specification list combined scintillating performance that was at the price.

The sophisticated technology drew directly on engineering gained in Subaru’s All-Wheel World Rally Championship producing a car with outstanding handling and ride.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi’s performance came from a 2.0 litre turbocharged horizontally quad-cam 16-valve Boxer

It produced 195 kW of power at 6,000 rpm and 343 Nm of at 4,000 rpm.

The Active Valve Control electronically adjusted the intake timing through a range of 35 degrees. This produced power and torque while fuel consumption and emissions.
