New Updates

We believe there is one God who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ to be true God and His incarnation to have been true man. He was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit, died for our sins and was raised of God in majesty, making intercession as our High Priest.

He will come again to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace.

We believe the Old Testament and New Testament to be the infallible Word of God, inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God and complete and sufficient revelation of His will for man’s salvation and conduct.

We believe man was originally created in the image of God. Through disobedience and self-centeredness he incurred both physical and spiritual death. Thus, all are now born with a sinful nature, separated from God and can be saved through the atoning work of Jesus Christ.

All who are impenitent and believing will be lost in a Christ-less eternity of conscious torment for those who believe, eternity will be spend in God’s presence, in His distinct joy and bliss.

We believe the church consists the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Together for worship, prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the Gospel and observance of the ordinances of Baptism (Emerssion) and Lord’s Supper.

We believe the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ as both personal and visible. This is our blessed hope and serves as an incentive for holy living and faithful service.

We believe in the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord to the uttermost parts of the earth, thus giving man the word of God in truth and also hastening.

From the desk of General Secretary

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The facade of the earth evidently shows uncertain future ahead with global scale tragedies already crossed the benchmark (environmental degradation, natural calamity, economic recession, war crime, human tragedy and insecurity etc.) while many calculate global scale apocalypse by 2012. Amidst the euphoria of technological progress, contest over the space segregates society at large; conflict heightens among the nations and the world remains enveloped within the cloud of unrest albeit propagation of lessoning global tensions through several measures and policies.

Collapse of the twin tower of world trade center, recent global economic recession, crisis in the Africa, Middle East, West Asia, South Asia, etc, are still remain afresh memories. Can anyone reverse the trends of global dilemma? It is indeed a global challenge.

At individual level, uncertainty in term of economy, security, relationship, employment, etc. poses challenge to all, regardless of age, profession, social and economic status. We encounter with certain challenges everyday and those challenges ultimately become part of ‘experience’ in our life. Significance of ‘experience’ however, depends on individual approach, skill, articulation and response to the challenges. It thus carries both positive and negative account.

We often heard people saying life is (not) good/easy in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, etc. What makes them said life is ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is thus a total, if not partial reflection of their experiences in those cities. By experiences, it means the challenges they have faced during their stay in those cities.

Challenges come in different forms (financial problems, economic problem, relationship, responsibilities, task, etc.) even threatening both individual and institution at time but sometimes quite promising and attractive; obligation without choice or mere assignment where individual’s decision has the final say. One can undermine the challenges or face them for the best of his/her life. Imagining ‘challenges’ from contemporary perspective provides quite relevant and interesting phenomenon.

In the waves of globalization, revolution in technology creates (produces) and recreates (reproduces) new challenges and we make an attempt to fit ourselves into this new global system. It is a great challenge for anyone who intends to accommodate into that space created by the so called neo-liberalism. How we contemplate to respond and internalize the myriads of challenges and stimuli to which the prevailing global standard has exposed us thus remain significant in meeting the challenges.

Influx of young migrants to Mumbai (from Northeast India) in pursuit of better livelihood serves a good example. What are the challenges they face? How do they perceive all these challenges and make response?

These are a few relevant questions to arrive at a conclusion of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ living experiences. The fact is that ‘how good is life or how challenging is life?’ will be determined by personal integrity, adaptability, determination, perseverance, conviction and success story of overcoming the challenges.

Eventually, situation takes us to point of realization that life is a series of challenges; to live is to challenge the challenges that involve both inner and outer attributes; to live is to face the uncertainties (in other sense) that come before us, and we set strategies to reverse the situation.
