BRUSSELS, Belgium – The next Toyota Verso will have its world debut at the 2012 Paris auto show.

The arrival date for the car in South Africa is not yet known. A Toyota SA representative said: There isn’t a timeline yet for this model. We will convey information closer to the time.

The new Verso will be available in a choice of 11 exterior colours.

The Verso’s interior features the use of new trim detailing and a black paint finish. The instruments are back-lit but the aircon dials and display, and all switchgear including window switches, are illuminated in orange for legibility without excessive distraction after dark.

Despite its compact packaging, the Verso has interior roominess with 975mm between the first and second row of seats.

The Toyota seven-seating system offers true MPV flexibility, with 32 positions, and a 2340mm by 1280mm skylight is an option.

Toyota Touch, a 15.5cm, full-colour, touch-screen, is a more affordable approach to affordable, multimedia system now standard in upper Verso grades and Toyota Touch Go Plus equips the new Verso with an (optional) satnav.

A new option pack has been created with fleet customers in mind, which includes a leather steering wheel, cruise control and Toyota Touch.
