You need to buy a remote from the you can buy one from ebay or Amazon for $30, and you can program it yourself. The will charge you $100 to your remote. (Just on the last step make you press both the lock and button at the same time).

the eBay website. They have a lot of various owner for sale on the site. I hope helps!

I have a 1.6L Liasna/Aerio.

Recently it had a problem, a problem I seem to see on other websites.

The was cruising on the highway and suddenly surged, and cut out. Another was when it was stopped at the lights and the RPM to a cut. Accelerator application not keep the rpm up.

The common factor in all cases was that it was a very hot Temp was 32-35 degrees C, 95 degree F).

I let the vehicle cool and then got a restart and limped Sometimes had a repeat enroute. A exercise, having the engine cut on a highway!

The vehicle then started and ran on days without a murmer.

The Suzuki shop had a look at it but showed up on the inbuilt computer!

a fourth incident I took it to the Suzi shop and this the service rep said that had had a few other Liana’s come in the same problem. These were with the later engine, the 1.8L M18A.

The it would appear was the CRANK SENSOR. A bit of solid state kit it about A$100 and is located the alternator. After replacement I had no problems but I need to do some in hot weather to really find

In the trouble shooting game you need to work on the process of so I also had the air filter replaced as as the Air Inlet Temp. probe (Both inexpensive).

From up on Suzuki Liana/Aerio (US) I can see more than a few which I can put to a problem with the CAS.

vehicles seem to have a in that they will over but not start. Again likely a CAS problem. It would to me that if there is one consistant with Lianas/Aerios then it is a CAS.

The CAS replaces the older A gear wheel in the engines next to the CAS and that in turn a signal to the vehicles computer to the spark plugs. The CAS may be a solid bit of kit but can still fail.

Radiators. The Liana has two radiators, with their own electric fan. The left unit is for the block cooling fluid. The unit is for the air con unit and for external of the engine block and accessories behind the engine. Both have heat sensors.

The has a temp probe that high turns on the elec fan. The right cooling fan come on when the air con unit is on or when the engine block hot. Be advised that the runs cooler than a lot of vehicles so, even on a hot day, the may not come on when you expect to.

The CAS unit is located in a hot part of the so when the outside air temp such as on a hot day, the temp of the block and the oil inside it as well as the air the CAS probe rises and that is the unit fails.

Perhaps I if I to design or modify the Liama (a little vehicle) I would a bit more cooling air around the

The CAS is a part of modern cars and I that the CAS in other cars fail so it is not a Liana/Aerio only Given time and experience car will rid us of this over-temp CAS problem with better

Comment; If you are having a problem as described then get the CAS replaced. It may be the that the mechanics overlook in trouble shooting but is the key to your

Enjoy driving your I do!
