CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Dulce Leon

CITROEN C-Crosser 2.2HDi 7 seat Auto DCS date).’ (Review date: 13th Nov 2013 at 20:18 )

Rating: ( 5 / 5 )

The C-Crosser is probably the most amazing car I’ve sat in. Citroen gets my recomendation for the C-Crosser and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a well designed car. I commute every single day in my C-Crosser and it continually performs at way more miles to the gallon than the apparent official mpg figure of 39.2. The C-Crosser boasts incredible handling compared to my last Citroen C3 and actually literally any other car I’ve ever drove.

Since buying the C-Crosser I have done roughly 15000 miles and absolutely love it. Its no surprise considering just how uneconomical it is that the C-Crosser also comes with a very big road tax bill. Citroen lining the pockets of the UK government.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by A Kline

The official league tables would tell you that the C-Crosser will do 38.7 miles to the gallon but i’m without a doubt getting even more from mine. Wicked car. I’m a serial moaner and even I can’t find a fault to complain about. i had heard that the C-Crosser handles brilliantly but even with those expectations I was still pleasantly surprised.

The handling is second to none.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Tabitha

The C-Crosser is probably the most brilliant car I’ve experienced. I just found out that the official miles per gallon it should be doing is 38.7 which surprises me because I’m sure that I am getting more miles to the gallon from mine. I am unimpressed with the road tax on this C-Crosser.

Citroen should have done more to make it cleaner and therefore lower cost with regard to road tax.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by M Zuniga

Id absolutely recommend the C-Crosser to friends. My old Tiguan was a decent car but the C-Crosser is on a whole other level of brilliance. The official numbers would have you believe that the C-Crosser will do 40.3 mpg but Im definitely getting way more outta mine.

I had a weird issue with the indicators turning on and off for no reason which was a bit niggling but the peeps atCitroen got it fixed ridiculously quickly with no hassle so I really can’ whinge.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Alondra

i’ve done at least 5000 miles in the 5 months since buying it and its definitely the best car i’ve owned. My old Ford Focus was a perfectly acceptable car but the C-Crosser made it easy to forget all about the old one. One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official figures said it would run at 39.2 which seemed fairly decent to me but i am sure that i am getting more than that.

I am head over heels in love with this car. i’m unimpressed with the road tax on this C-Crosser. Citroen could have done more to make it emit less CO2 and thus lower cost with regard to road tax.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Brooklynn G

The only complaint I came across was a minor one where the windscreen wipers weren’t coming on but as soon as got in touch with Citroen they got it sorted right away and were really understanding about everything. It handles brilliantly well and much better than I was expecting for the cost of the car.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Gael M

I’m not sure if I would recommend the C-Crosser. It is alright but its not the best car in the world. I usually get around 45 mpg on average, so can’t complain. I had a Leon for a few years and only bought C-Crosser because I wanted a bit of a change. Truthfully the C-Crosser is is no better than the old one but its reliable.

It hasnt given me any notable problems. It handles like my old Leon.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Jeremy

i have done at least 14500 miles in the 8 months since getting it and its without a doubt the best car i have owned. Oh god the C-Crosser is amazing.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Jermaine W

I would definitely recommend the C-Crosser to family and friends. Since purchasing the C-Crosser Ive covered about 16500 miles and totally love it. Just buy this car, you won’t regret it.

I commute every single day in my C-Crosser and it continually goes at slightly over mpg than the apparent official mpg figure of 38.7.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Chad M

Citroen didnt put enough measures in place to enhance CO2 efficiency and ultimately to lower road tax. I dont go out of my way to recommend the C-Crosser with people I know but if they asked I would mention that its not a bad car. To date the performance I am getting from my C-Crosser is about the same as the official mpg for this car at 40.3. i have had the C-Crosser roughly 22 months and gone 19000 miles in it.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by J Mendez

The only problem I encountered was a minor one where the handbrake was difficult to pull off but as soon as got in touch with Citroen they fixed it immediately and were really sorry about everything. Awesome set of wheels. I’m a notorious grumbler and even I can’t find anything to grumble about. i had heard that the C-Crosser handles brilliantly but even with high expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised.

The handling is amazing. If youre wanting a superb value ride with decent road tax costs, I would definitely recommend the C-Crosser.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Callie B

The C-Crosser is a amazing car. I have driven 12500 in the C-Crosser and every day I appreciate it a little more. I had heard that the C-Crosser handles amazingly but even with those expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised.

The handling is fantastic. It’s no surprise when you consider just how inefficient it is that the C-Crosser also results in a really big road tax bill. Citroen lining the pockets of the UK government.

It had one tiny glitch with the front window closing. I got in touch with Citroen and it was handled promptly. One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official stats said it would go at 39.2 which seemed pretty decent to me but i am certain that i am getting more than that.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Ethan Skinner

Citroen failed to do enough to increase CO2 efficiency and thus lower road tax. In 15 months Ive clocked up 7000 miles in the C-Crosser and have absolutely no problems with it at all. I gave my old Freelander to my partner who is now eyeing up my new C-Crosser.

No chance I am giving it up though. I had a slight problem with the electrics, Citroen sorted it quickly with no quibbles.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Nathanael P

One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official figures said it would run at 40.3 which seemed fairly decent to me but I’m sure that I’m getting more than that. I would certainly recommend the C-Crosser to anyone who asked. I did have an issue with the child locking and contacted Citroen.

I was incredibly embarassed to be told that the issue was actually related to something silly that I was doing. Yes it was my fault after all, but Citroen were really understanding about it all. Citroen have pulled out all the stops with the C-Crosser.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Chloe

I had a Volkswagen Tiguan for a few years and only bought C-Crosser because I fancied a bit of a change. Truthfully the C-Crosser is is no better than the old one but it’s decent.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Leonel Ramirez

There was a tiny fault with the tail lights when I initially got it but Citroen were ace in dealing with it for me. The C-Crosser is a amazing car. Id certainly recommend the C-Crosser to friends.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Brett

The only complaint I came across was a minor one where the handbrake was difficult to pull off but as soon as got in touch with Citroen they fixed it right away and were incredibly apologetic about everything. Citroen. I love you. I moved from a Audi TT and haven’t looked back.

Great job, Citroen. I wouldn’t think twice recommending the C-Crosser to anyone.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Harrison

The C-Crosser will do for me. It’s definitely not the best car on the market and doesnt exactly give me any reason to high five but I have owned enough nightmare cars in the past to appreciate the fact that the C-Crosser doesn’t have any recurring issues. Overall it’s alright. There have been a handful tiny little mechanical issues but nothing of any great concern. The C-Crosser isn’t just pricey to own but also results in a ginormous road tax bill.

Up to now the performance i’m getting from my C-Crosser is about the same as the official miles per gallon for this car at 39.2. I dont deliberately talk about the C-Crosser with friends but if they asked I would say that it’s a pretty decent car.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Katelynn

I get about 45 mpg on average, so can’t complain. The C-Crosser is a reasonable car for the money. I have driven around 12000 miles in the 18 months since I got the C-Crosser.

Citroen has given me no cause for complaint with it as there have been no mechanical issues to speak of.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Declan

Id heard that the C-Crosser handles brilliantly but even with those expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised. The handling is second to none. I was advised that the official mpg stat for the C-Crosser was 38.7 but I am sure that Im getting loads more out of mine. most awesome car.

I’m totally happy with the C-Crosser.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Nevaeh

Wowzer the C-Crosser boasts handling like like a formula one car. Incredible. I have covered 5500 in the C-Crosser and every day I appreciate it a little more. My old Mazda6 was a decent little ride but the C-Crosser made it easy to forget all about the old one. Ive recomended the C-Crosser to everyone I talk to.

I feel I should be on commission from Citroen. The Citroen C-Crosser is a phenomenal car. I commute five times a week in my C-Crosser and it consistently goes at noticeably more miles per gallon than the supposed official mpg figure of 38.7.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Caitlin Cherry

It handles like a sack of manure. Me and the C-Crosser have now been unhappily married for 15 months and we’ve done 12500 miles together. Unfortunately I could swear it is more like 15 years and every time I drive it I despise it a little more.

Why on Earth did I ever switch my Mercedes-benz Vito for the C-Crosser? What a terrible decision that was. I average 22mpg which is smaller than the official figure of 39.2 – I drive fast.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by H Matthews

Citroen have pulled out all the stops with the C-Crosser. I moved from a Laguna and haven’t looked back. Since getting the C-Crosser Ive done around 14000 miles and completely love it.

Had a minor glitch with the window opening, Citroen sorted it rapidly with no quibbles.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Nathaniel Humphrey

I’m not amused with the road tax on this C-Crosser. Citroen could have done more to make it emit less CO2 and therefore less expensive in terms of road tax. My old 911 was a good car, but this is better. Citroen has surpassed all expectations with the way this handles.

The C-Crosser handles like a Ferrari. There was a minuscule flaw with the indicator lights when I first got it but Citroen were awesome in fixing it for me.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Genesis Phelps

It handles like my old Mondeo. I usually get around 35 mpg on average, so can’t complain. Not sure whether or not I prefer my C-Crosser over my previous Mondeo.

I would recommend the C-Crosser to friends who are trying to find a decent car but not for anyone who want something mind blowing.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Callie

Had a slight problem with the exhaust fitting, Citroen sorted it swiftly with no fuss. Citroen did not put enough measures in place to increase fuel efficiency and in turn cut road tax. I’ve done 17000 miles in this car and it keeps getting better and better.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Ezekiel R

I dont go out of my way to recommend the C-Crosser with mates but if they asked I would probably tell them that it’s a pretty decent car. The C-Crosser is is about as good as my old Volvo S60. My journeys are relatively short and I’m getting roughly 35 mpg on average.

The Citroen C-Crosser is neither amazing nor dismal. It causes me no problems and I’ve had no serious problems with it. The Citroen C-Crosser has ok handling based on its value.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by R Mccarty

I don’t have any major reasons to whinge about the C-Crosser. It isn’t bad. i have had no major issues in the 11 months since buying the C-Crosser and i have done approximately 10500 miles in it. The handling isn’t bad and similar to the Lexus IS. I had a Lexus IS for a few years and only got C-Crosser because I wanted a bit of a change.

In all honesty the C-Crosser is neither better nor worse than the old one but its alright.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Samantha B

My trips are relatively minimal and I’m getting around 45 mpg on average. Ive done about 11500 miles in the 10 months since I got the C-Crosser. i am not amused with the road tax on this C-Crosser. Citroen should have done more to make it cleaner and therefore less expensive in regard to road tax.

Citroen has given me no cause to complain with it as there have been no faults to speak of.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Noe Harrell

I had a bizarre problem with the windscreen wipers turning on and off automatically which was a bit irritating but the person I spoke to atCitroen got it repaired phenomenally speedily with no fuss so I really can’ moan. Id heard that the C-Crosser handles brilliantly but even with high expectations I was still pleasantly surprised. The handling is amazing. I have driven 6500 in the C-Crosser and everyday I love it a little more.

Fantastic job, Citroen. I wouldn’t think twice recommending the C-Crosser to friends and family.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Rene Buckley

most awesome car. I’m completely happy with the C-Crosser. I sold my Lancer to get get the Citroen C-Crosser and it was a brilliant choice. Citroen gets my recommendation for the C-Crosser and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a great value car. There was a little flaw with the windscreen wipers when I initially bought it but Citroen were brilliant in dealing with it for me.

Handling is really well and significantly better than I expected for the cost of the car. I was told that the official miles per gallon stat for the C-Crosser was 38.7 but I reckon that Im getting way more from mine.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Xavier M

My last vehicle was a Ford Focus and while I adored it, my new C-Crosser is on a whole new level. There’s no switching back. Just buy this car, you won’t look back.

I would definitely recommend the C-Crosser to anyone who asked. Citroen did not seem to consider measures to increase fuel efficiency and ultimately to reduce road tax.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by G Mathis

The Citroen C-Crosser is a phenomenal car. It had one minor defect with the passenger window closing. I contacted Citroen and it was handled immediately.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Skylar Simpson

I just looked up that the official miles per gallon it should be doing is 38.7 which surprises me cos I am definitely getting more from mine. In 17 months i’ve clocked up 7000 miles in the C-Crosser and have literally no issues with it at all. I owned a Renault Mégane for years and really did love it. But the C-Crosser is definitely better.

It handles like its on rails. It had one little glitch with the front door closing. I got in touch with Citroen and it was handled quickly.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by K Calhoun

I have had this annoying problem with the handbrake and despite loads of telephone calls with Citroen I still haven’t had the fault repaired. It’s a total incompetence. Economy is not great, roughly 24mpg.

Why oh why did I ever get rid of my Bmw 1 Series for the C-Crosser? What a awful idea that was. I wouldn’t recommend this car ever, not even to someone I hate. It handles poorly.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Jorge W

My old Citroen Nemo was a good car, but this is better. I was told that the official miles per gallon figure for the C-Crosser was 38.7 but I am sure that I’m getting loads more out of mine. I recommend the C-Crosser so frequently that my friends thinks I’m on commission.

I’ve covered 12000 in the C-Crosser and with every mile I appreciate it just a bit more.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Trinity V

Ive had nothing but faults since I bought it and in all honesty it feels like Citroen couldn’t care less. Wish I’d never even thought about going for the Citroen C-Crosser. It’s caused me nothing problems. It’s terrible.

It handles like a giant HGV. Awful. I wouldn’t recommend this car as long as I live, not even to someone I dislike. After 12000 miles I’ve started to dislike this vehicle.

Fuel efficiency isn’t amazing, about 17mpg.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Emilio P

I talk about the C-Crosser so much that my friends reckons I’m on commission. I just looked up that the official mpg it is supposed to be running at is 38.7 which surprises me as I’m absolutely getting more miles to the gallon from mine. There was a tiny problem with the clutch when I first bought it but Citroen were super in fixing it for me.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by J Frazier

There was a tiny flaw with the tail lights when I first bought it but Citroen were fantastic in dealing with it for me. Citroen did not put enough measures in place to enhance eco friendliness and thus lower road tax. I have done roughly 6000 miles in the 24 months since acquiring it and its definitely the best car I have owned. It handles phenomenally well and significantly better than I expected for what I paid of the car.

I gave my old SLK-Class to my partner who is now trying to get my new C-Crosser. No chance I’m giving it up though.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Ciara M

The standard mpg figure for my C-Crosser is 39.2 and I am getting approximately the same out of mine so no whingeing. I’d recommend the C-Crosser to people I know who are looking to buy a decent car but not for those who want something out of this world. The Citroen C-Crosser is neither mind blowing nor awful.

It’s fine and I’ve had no serious problems with it. I have had no massive issues in the 12 months since getting the C-Crosser and I have gone about 7000 miles in it.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Michaela

I usually get around 35 mpg on average, so can’t complain. Not sure whether or not I prefer my C-Crosser over my previous Renault Scénic. It has not thrown up any serious problems. The Citroen C-Crosser has reasonable handling when you consider what it costs.

The C-Crosser does the job its supposed to do. It’s definitely not the best car on the market and doesn’t exactly give me any reason to cheer out loud but I’ve owned enough problematic cars in the past to appreciate the fact that the C-Crosser doesnt have any major probs. Generally speaking it’s reasonable.

I have covered 5000 miles in 14 months.

Citroen C-Crosser

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by J Oconnell

Id 100% recommend the C-Crosser to family and friends. I just found out that the official miles to the gallon it is supposed to be running at is 38.7 which shocks me as I’m sure that I am getting more miles to the gallon from mine. I moved from a Ford C-MAX and haven’t looked back. I did have a little problem with the windscreen wipers and contacted Citroen.

I was very embarrassed to be told that the problem was actually related to something silly that I was doing. Yep it was my own fault after all, but Citroen were really understanding about it all.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Marshall Sloan

I had a slight glitch with the exhaust fitting, Citroen sorted it rapido with no quibbles. I recommend the C-Crosser so frequently that my partner thinks I’m on commission.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by J Walsh

It’s most likely not the best car ever from Citroen to be truthful but by the same token it’s better value than other similar vehicles available. i’m cheesed off with the road tax on this C-Crosser. Citroen could have done more to make it cleaner and therefore less expensive in regard to road tax. The official mpg figure for my C-Crosser is 38.7 and i am getting approximately that out of mine so no whingeing. I don’t know about whether I would recommend the C-Crosser.

I believe Citroen has developed a standard car but there’s undoubtedly better cars out there. The handling is fine and similar to the Urban. It has not presented any notable problems.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Kody B

I moved from a 1 Series to the Citroen C-Crosser and it definitely feels like a massive upgrade. I’d definitely recommend the C-Crosser to family. My God the C-Crosser handles like the best cars on the market.

Incredible.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Heaven

One of the main reasons I chose it was that the official stats said it would go at 39.2 which seemed relatively decent to me but i am certain that i am getting even more than that. The only complaint I came across was a slight one where fuel light was coming on unnecessarily but as soon as got in touch with Citroen they fixed it immediately and were really understanding about the whole thing.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Bradley Rogers

most awesome piece of work. I’m completely pleased with the C-Crosser. After a slight problem with the door closing, Citroen sorted it quickly with no quibbles. I was advised that the official miles per gallon number for the C-Crosser was 40.3 but I know for a fact that I am getting way more from mine. I talk about the C-Crosser so much that my partner reckons I’m on commission.

In 15 months I’ve driven 16500 miles in the C-Crosser and have zero problems with it in any sense of the word.

In 11 months I’ve covered 6500 miles in the C-Crosser and have literally no complaints with it in any sense of the word. I was told that the official mpg stat for the C-Crosser was 40.3 but I know for a fact that Im getting even better performance from mine. i had heard that the C-Crosser handled amazingly but even with those expectations I was still pleasantly surprised.

The handling is second to none. The only problem I encountered was a slight one where fuel light was coming on unnecessarily but as soon as contacted Citroen they got it sorted immediately and were incredibly sorry about the whole thing. Ive recomended the C-Crosser to anyone I know.

I should negotiate commission from Citroen.

I did have an issue with the child locking and got in touch with Citroen. I was pretty embarrassed to be told that the problem was in actual fact down to something silly that I was doing. The fuel economy is listed at 38.7 mpg but in my experience it could be even better. My last vehicle was a Mazda Mazda6 and although I really liked it, my new C-Crosser is phenomenal. There’s no chance I would go back.

Had a minor problem with the electrics, Citroen sorted it rapido with no fuss.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by Cora

The door don’t close in a very nice way and Citroen’s customer service is poor at best. I can’t believe I sold my old Ford Focus to get the C-Crosser. im really disappointed. How does it handle? There’s no swear word known to man that could ever describe how awful the handling on the C-Crosser is.

Fuel efficiency is not anything to write home about, roughly 16mpg.

CITROEN C-Crosser Car Review by L Shannon

I have recomended the C-Crosser to everyone i talk to. I feel I should be on commission from Citroen. im annoyed with the road tax on this C-Crosser. Citroen could have done more to make it cleaner and in turn lower cost in regard to road tax. Citroen highlight their class with this car.

It handles very well and much better than I was expecting for the value of the car. Since buying the C-Crosser I have covered roughly 19000 miles and absolutely adore it.

Citroen has blown everyone out of the water with the way this handles. The C-Crosser handles like a dream. The official figures would tell you that the C-Crosser will deliver 40.3 miles per gallon however i’m without a doubt getting more from mine.

I’ve covered 5000 miles in 3 months. Citroen has given me no cause to whinge with it as there have been no mechanical issues of any note. I’m unsure if I would recommend the C-Crosser. It is fine but it’s not the greatest car ever. The Citroen C-Crosser doesnt seem any better or worse than my last Insignia.
