Noble M12 GTO-3 – European Car Magazine

Press photographers will busy themselves, scantily clad girls will hand out brochures, and by the end of the show he’ll claim to have taken numerous orders from discerning individuals. The plucky entrepreneur will then return to his shed, tinker with the car for a couple of years, sell precisely none, and call in the liquidators. It’s all depressingly predictable. When was the last time you heard of a Strathcarron or a Jensen? But there is an exception. ...

Noble M12 GTO-3R – European Car Magazine

A Supercar That Should Be On Your Wish List Having penned the Ultima and Ascari Ecosse, Lee Noble set off to do his own thing with his eponymously named company. The first of his efforts, the M10, was about as popular as a roast beef sandwich at a vegetarian party, but several evolutions down the line he produced arguably the seminal car of his career, the M12 GTO 3R. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s undoubtedly automotive art. Noble has made only small steps from the M12 GTO with the new 3R model, the biggest alterations coming in the engine bay. The 3R makes good use of Duratec’s 3.0-liter V6 as opposed to the 2.5 liter that powered the GTO. According to Noble tradition ...

NOBLE M12 GTO : SPOTTED An early M12 for £22k would make a fine buy for the track day individualist Remember the excitement around the Noble M12? Its forerunner the M10 from 1999 looked like a mis-shapen Toyota MR2, offered little over a Lotus Elise and consequently didn#8217;t make much of an impact. Click to enlarge But then the M12 GTO arrived back in 2000 and, in one car, Lee Noble announced himself to the world. It still wasn#8217;t the most beautiful thing to look at but, as something to drive, it was sensational. Low mass, excellent mid-engined dynamics and a thumping turbocharged 2.5-litre V6 made it the darling of road test desks nationwide. #8216;Like a big Elise#8217; ironically ...

Mr Jeremy Clarkson wrote: This week, however, I found a woman coming up the A44 at 30 and I went beyond incandescence into a semi-catatonic state of pure rage. My blood turned to acid and fizzed.
