Mini One Review | Autocar

Mini One The absolute cheapest way to get behind the wheel of a new Mini. This is the entry-level One, powered by a 95bhp 1.4-litre engine. Without any of the extremely extensive options boxes ticked, this is the plain-jane of the range. In unadorned showroom spec, it rolls on 15in steel wheels and doesn¹t even have front fog lights to enliven the styling. BMW says that just 35 percent of One owners are male. Likewise, just 30 percent of Cooper S owners are female. The One is likely to appeal predominately to women drivers willing to pay extra (and to put up with less space) to upgrade from a Corsa, Fiesta or Polo. What’s it like? Under the more prominent bonnet is a new, and ...

Low-spec MINI One Clubman set for Geneva debut Click on the image above to view a high-res gallery of the MINI One Clubman It’s exciting for us when we get to report on a new, more powerful version of a much-loved car, but this isn’t one of those moments. Thankfully, we also like it when a much-loved car becomes available in a less expensive formula. What you see here is the soon-to-be minted entry-level version of the MINI Clubman. Naturally, the decontented Clubman will come in as the cheapest version of the MINI wagon, retailing in the UK for £13,290 (approximately $19,250). That’s a comparable price to the smaller but more powerful MINI Cooper hatchback (£13,715), ...

Mini One vs Fiat 500

Mini One vs Fiat 500 The new Mini hatch line-up will soon be full, when the new Mini One and Mini Cooper D models are represented to the public at the International Geneva Motor Show on 8 March 2007. The entry-level Mini One features a perky 95hp 1. 4-litre petrol motor, while the Cooper D boasts performance and fuel economy from an all-new 1. 6-litre 110hp turbodiesel powerplant. A Cooper-badged Mini diesel hints at the sporty nature of the new model. Mini fans will be equally impressed at the prospect of the Cooper D promising to be the most economical and cleanest Mini ever built. In comparison to the outgoing Mini One D’s combined fuel consumption of 58. 9mpg, the Cooper D is ...

Mini One Convertible review (2010 onwards) – MSN Cars UK

Mini One Convertible review (2010 onwards) First impressions MINI has revised and broadened the Convertible range, just in time for summer 2010. Petrol versions have cleaner and punchier 1.6-litre engines, while there’s a new 1.6-litre 98hp entry-level version too: the MINI One Convertible. With a bold sub-£15k list price, it’s the cheapest drop top MINI yet. At first glance, and with one proviso, it doesn’t look or feel like it. MINI integrity runs deep and the solid thud of the doors encloses you within a very well built and classy interior. The One has the same characterful design and layout of all MINIs, rounded off by the huge round speedo. There is a must-have, ...

Mini One While the last of the old Minis were must-have fashion items, the auto versions had a big image problem. The MINI One Convertible’s shortfalls – lack of pace, rear space and respect for your beautifully sculpted hair – make it easier to criticise than recommend. USHER DANCER MINI ONE REVIEW

FEATURES USHER DANCER MINI ONE loudspeaker From Hi-Fi World – March 2012 issue Diamond Life The Usher Dancer Mini One loudspeaker brings a diamond into your life. Noel Keywood enjoys the sparkle. U sher, a Taiwanese company, have an impressive factory by global standards and an engineering department, including anechoic chamber, most companies would … for. They rely on advanced engineering to produce a high technology product and our measurements show little compromise to the notion of accuracy. The Be-10 we reviewed in the June 2009 issue was a stunner, but this is a big loudspeaker with a big price tag – £10,000 no less. The Dancer Mini-One reviewed here lies in the ...

Review: iPad Mini, one for the kids – Computerworld New Zealand

Review: iPad Mini, one for the kids It is small and perfectly formed, but Sim Ahmed isn#39;t tempted by the iPad Mini It#8217;s hard for me to imagine situations where Apple#8217;s current range of iPads are considered too large. The iPad Mini was launched in November to fit the demands of those who could. Hardware True to its name, the Mini is also smaller and thinner than its predecessors #8212; making it easier to hold in one hand than previous generations. Compared to the heft of the iPad 3, the 308g Mini is practically feather-light #8212; in fact it#8217;s less than half the weight. The Mini#8217;s … feature seems to be this size advantage #8212; it can now fit in small handbags, ...

Fuku-Bonsai has conducted ficus research since the early 1970’s as a independent effort and as a research affiliate of the Harold Lyon Arboretum of the University of Hawaii at Manoa in a project titled: Ficus, An Inspiration for Bonsai for Indoors. Three months into our tenure of the MINI One and things are going great guns. In fact, the feisty three-door is well on the way to impressing the entire Auto Express staff – despite the optimistically named velvet red colour scheme, which looks more like chocolate brown to us.
