Questions and Answers Lincoln Town Car Hesitation Q. Hi I am not sure if I got the right place? I have a 1996 Lincoln Town Car 4.6 liter V-8 that is driving me to drink. The frustration is not longer bearable! I has a hesitation problem that, no matter what I do, will not go away. I have replaced the in line fuel filter got a little better, trouble codes of P0300 and P0304 came up so I installed new wires and plugs. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor. A little better. I tried pumping vacuum and withdrawing vacuum to the EGR and it stalled the engine so I am assuming that the EGR is okay.
