Sensor Glitch – Chevrolet Aveo Would not Shift out of Park

Yesterday, my car would not shift out of park. Before I called a tow truck or took it to the dealership, I decided to check google. I got the idea below. So I managed to get it out of park and into gear, went to class, then took it to the dealership. The guy said he never heart of the problem and he thought he would have to take the entire gear box apart. To which I said, The GM bulletin said change the brake switch first, then look at the brake transaxle shift interlock (BTSI) solenoid. To which he said he would go check. He did, and went in, and came out and checked the brake light and the diagnostic fit. So he said that I should leave the car and come back the next day because they didn’t ...

First Drive: 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV | TheDetroitBureau.com

First Drive: 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV The 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV is just reaching showrooms in California and Oregon. One of the surprise hits of the 2013 has been the little Chevrolet Spark, the smallest offering the U.S. maker has offered American motorists in decades. A key to that success has been its distinctive design and personality. That’s good news as Chevy launches a battery-powered version of the Spark. Up until now electric vehicles have been treated as sort of a one-of-a-kind category without much in the way of distinguishing characteristics – other than their lack of tailpipe emissions. But as the number of pure battery-electric vehicles, or BEVs, on the road continues ...

Chevrolet Astro – Research New & Used Chevy Astro Minivans/Vans | Automotive.com

Chevrolet Astro The Chevrolet Astro is a minivan that was introduced in 1985. The Astro intended to compete directly with the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager minivans that were both rampantly popular at the time. However, despite its minivan classification, the Astro shared a platform with the GMC Safari. It also had a lot more in common with the full-size vans that were still commonly driven at the time than it did with other minivans. This was largely due to the Astro making use of components utilized by a number of GM’s other light trucks. The Astro enjoyed a 20-year production run without a major redesign before it was ultimately discontinued in 2005. About the Chevrolet Astro ...

Chevrolet Epica | Auto Express

Verdict There#039;s no doubt the Epica means business, but as with the Kia Magentis, its Korean origins are likely to hold it back. Rivals such as the Ford Mondeo and Vaux-hall Vectra will be better options, both in terms of design and residuals. Still, the progress engineers have made with this car suggests future Chevrolets can only get better. Falling sales, disinterested buyers and increasing competition from trendy people carriers and off-roaders mean makers have to be either brave or misguided to enter the European family car market. so which is Chevrolet? As with Kia and its Magentis, the firm is launching a new Ford Mondeo rival, called the Epica. The big Korean-built saloon will ...

Chevrolet Blazer LT 4X4 (1997)

by Matt/Bob Hagin (At its inception in the mid-’60s, the sports/utility field consisted of vehicles that were little more than full-sized, short-bed pickup trucks with back seats. Big, rough and uncivilized. That all changed in 1983 with the S-10 Chevrolet Blazer. It was smaller, lighter and more personal. Bob and Matt Hagin try out the latest version of this pioneer compact SUV and find it a pleasant product of evolution.) BOB – This latest Chevy Blazer LT is really smooth, Matt. If a family leads an active outdoor life that includes boating, fishing or, maybe lots of winter activities, one of the many brands of small SUVs is an obvious choice. It has room for five, is as ...

Chevrolet Uplander Review – Research New & Used Chevrolet Uplander Models | Edmunds

Used Models The history of Chevrolet’s minivan models has been one of consistently trying to catch up with the other guy, but ultimately falling short. Through three generations and names, the Chevy vans and their various GM siblings struggled to match, let alone better, mom-mobiles from Chrysler and import competition. The final variant was the Chevrolet Uplander. Introduced in 2005 as a crossover sport van, the Uplander was designed to be more hip than the average mom-mobile. But this makeover did little to improve on its Chevy Venture roots. True, the Uplander succeeded in providing the expected features and creature comforts, but it lacked the refinement and ingenuity that other ...

Chevrolet Blazer 4.3 Misfire Under Light Load 2000 – 2500 RPM

Misfire Under Light Load 2000 #8211; 2500 RPM| 1996 Chevrolet Blazer | 4.3 1996 Chevy Blazer This case study is on a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer with a 4.3 V6. The complaint on this Blazer was that it had a misfire that was bad enough to make the tach jerk. I drove this SUV for a few miles with no issues. Fuel trims at idle and at cruise were in a fairly normal operating range of -5 to +9. The truck actually ran really good. Idle was as smooth as I would expect. It didn#8217;t miss a beat even while power braking the engine. A P0300 was stored in history codes. The freeze frame did not show any data that was out of normal range. Misfire history showed misfires scattered on all cylinders with ...

2013 Chevrolet Spark (Chevy) Reviews& Test Drives – Green Car Reports

2013 Chevrolet Spark – Review Green Car Reports Sign Up The 2013 Chevrolet Spark is the smallest Chevy sold in the U.S. in at least 20 years. Still, early sales results seem to show that it’s finding a market among young and urban buyers who want a short, easy-to-park four-person car with the versatility of a five-door hatchback body. Sold all over the world, the smallest Chevy serves as family transport in places like India and China. Here in the States, it’s more likely to be owned by city dwellers or as a household’s third car. The 2013 Spark only comes in a single body style–a five-door hatchback–and only offers one engine, a 1.2-liter four-cylinder ...

Vehicle Description For discriminating car collectors is this rare, big block 1969 Chevrolet Caprice Custom 2-door hardtop in Glacier Blue. However, you’ll find that this one is special – the only notable change is the upgraded wheels which really set it off and beautifully compliment its unique look.
