That is either bad contacts inside of the master window switch on the driver side door, and you can actually take apart those old switches and clean up the contacts with an emery board type finger nail file, or the problem will most likely be a broken wire(s) inside of the weather boot that runs between the driver side door and the body of the vehicle. Try turning the ignition to the Run position and then move the weather boot between the door and the body of the vehicle around while at the same time holding a window switch down in the direction that you want the window to move, and if the window does work while moving around the weather boot then there is a damaged wire(s) that will need to be repaired, and any wires that you find broken should be soldered back together and do not use wire connectors to repair the wires. (However, if the wires are too far apart inside of the weather boot then this test will not show any results) and if there is no damage to the wires at the wire connector to the master window switch, then the wires leading from the master window switch out through the door and the weather boot will have to be inspected thoroughly for any damaged wires.

The electric window motors have a tendency for the ceramic magnets to brake apart and lock up the motor. Pull the door panel and check the motor. Once the switch is out, turn it over to access and disconnect the wiring harness by hand Remove the screw behind the bezel with the Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the screws across the bottom of the door panel with the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the bezel behind the inner door handle with the trim tool. Remove the screw behind the bezel with the Phillips screwdriver.

Lift the door panel up and off the door. Move the window glass up, by hand, to the top of the window frame. Tape the glass in place with the packing tape to make sure it doesn’t come down while you’re working on the motor Unbolt the window motor from the regulator and the door with the socket set.

Unplug the wiring harness from the body of the window motor by hand and then pull the motor out of the door. Place the new window motor in position. Bolt the motor to the door and to the window regulator with the socket set. Plug the wiring harness into the new motor.

Reinstall the door panel and bezels in reverse of how you removed them. Remove the packing tape from the window glass when done.
