2014 Nissan Qashqai Review

Looks like Nissan prepared multiple changes for its 2014 Nissan Qashqai. Changes will be made to exterior, interior and powertrain, so Qashqai lovers will have a lot to look for. New Nissan Qashqai upgrades are inspired by the Hi-Cross concept and the Resonance concept. The Qashqai will have its premier in November, and it will go on sale by the end of 2013, or, at the latest, at the beginning of next year.

Also, rumor that Qashqai will have seven seats was proven wrong, and Nissan officials confirmed that it will be offered only with five seats.

The 2014 Nissan Qashqai  engine changes will include replacement of its current 1.6-litre petrol engine and, most probably will include a 1.6-litre diesel engine. 1.6-litre petrol engine that could be found under the hood of the current Nissan Qashqai, will be replaced with a turbo-charged direct injection 1.2-litre petrol engine instead. New engine will have the same number of horsepower, but it will be more economical than the current one.

1.6-litre diesel will bring more efficiency than the current version. Transmission choices are unclear yet, but, Nissan will probably offer, both 5-speed and 6-speed manual options, and, we assume automatic will be an option too, but it is unknown what number of gears it will have. Some predictions are that new engine will emit less than 100g/km of CO2, which shows Nissan’s care for environment.

Both front and all wheel drive will be offered with 2014 Nissan Qashqai  SUV.

2014 Nissan Qashqai  will look sportier now, and eye-catching changes include larger headlamps, new grille design and a larger Nissan badge on the front. Although new Nissan’s SUV now offers “only” 5 seats, it doesn’t reflect its comfort. Designers thought about every detail of 2014 Nissan Qashqai’s interior. Easy handling, high-quality materials and more comfort were the main focus of interior improvements.

Safety features of the vehicle will likely include Nissan#8217;s Safety Shield system (equipment made to help drivers to get out of the vehicle and to keep them safe). Features you can expect in 2014 Nissan Qashqai  include lane departure warning, blind spot warning, a rear camera, a 360-degree view of the car in order to help you park the car, 5.8-inch touchscreen sat-nav and much more. Great news about the price, also.

The price will be pretty much the same like the current model, which is great if you take into consideration all extra equipment and design improvements.
