2013 vs 2014 Armada

Aside from the few exterior differences, most of the 2014 Armada changes lie in the interior. The new Armada 2014 features a soft touch executive fabric trim which brings a modern appeal to the vehicle. There are several touch screen and soft touch buttons allotted to passengers for equipment control. LEDs lighting are used in the interiors.

Exterior illuminations also provide lighting to the interior.

The Armada is well known for its interior space. The vehicle can afford room for eight passengers. Although a cramped room is offered on the third-row, there are lots of headroom (resulting from the bowed roofline) and leg room for the first and second-row passengers.

Just like the 2013 model, the new Armada offers a good amount of cargo space. However, the available cargo room is below what competitors like the Toyota Sequoia offers. When the three seat rows are in place, cargo room is just 20.0 cubic feet.

It increases to 56.7 cubic feet with the third row folded and 97.1 cubic feet with just the first row.

Handling and Suspension

Just like its predecessors, buyers will not be impressed with Armada 2014 model’s handling and in-town maneuverability, but with the available Independent double-wishbone front and rear and KYB twin-tube shock absorbers, it gives a firm ride quality.

Standard safety features on the new Armada include the dual front and side airbags, side curtain airbags, traction control and the stability control systems.

2014 Nissan Armada competes directly with Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition and the Toyota Sequoia. There is also the Infiniti QX56, which sits on a newer platform and runs on a stronger power unit.

Release Date and Price

Buyers should expect the 2014 Nissan Armada in dealerships by late September 2013. There is no official news concerning its exact price. Since the 2013 model was of sold between $36,375 and $51,215, So we could estimate that Nissan armada 2014 will be sold with little hike in previous years price.
