Under the Hood

A 5.7-liter V-8 engine generating 401 of torque is standard on every Land Cruiser, powering all wheels through a 6-speed transmission and capable of towing pounds. Power is split 40% to the wheels and 60% to the rear wheels, but is variable depending on traction and settings.

The Land Cruiser is equipped a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension that allows the driver to the SUV’s stabilizer bars for wheel articulation off-road. A new Select system gives the the ability to map drivetrain characteristics to terrain, while Crawl with Off-Road Turn automatically controls the Land speed when placed in gear and helps the SUV to negotiate bends.
