2013+ Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T SFR ECU Reflash Stage0.5 Information

SFR does it again.

Being yet another first one to crack and offer a full ECU reflash for newer yearversionsplatforms!!

We are very happy to announce that we are now offering both canned or custom tune service for 2013+ Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T model.

Please note this isn’t a full release yet (for Stage 1) but due to lots of inquiries we are releasing what we’ve figured out to make power/drivability/changes in rev limitersgovernors so far.

As advertised before, we are going to offer free upgrade to stage 1 once it’s ready in the future (we do no thane any release dates yet and we are still doing more of testings)

Stage 0.5 is still more than enough to give you extra power that owners have been seeking for, and SFR is basically offer this tune meanwhile.

Tools we use

Some of you may not be familiar, but this is very popular and considered as only solution for perfect tune using OEM ECUs in European countries.

This applies the same for any vehicles using European ECUs such as Simens (Continental), Delphi, etc, and most Hyundai/Kia vehicles use these ECUs like our Genesis Coupe.

Our tool can read, write, and overwrite the datas to OEM ECUs which means we can save the OEM data from ECU, then modify and overwrite it.

About the tune

– It allows us to save your ECU data which means we can always turn your ECU back to stock condition or any datas customer want us to reflash

– Since we are modifying your stock data, everything will be perfectly functional ( I know some tunes put the cars in limp modes, Cruise control or Sportshift button do not work and such. giving you CELs and codes..

None of that will not happen with our tune) while you get much better throttle response, increase in hp/torque, rev limiter raised, Speed limit released, TCU fully functional, etc..

What does change and what are you planning to do with stage 1?

It should up the boost about 1-2psi only with stage 0.5. We won’t release any full informations what we’ve changed in the map to get to this point due to obviously competitions. SFR is very proud to say that we sure are the only one at the moment who got to this point and we have more to go.

Stage 1 will contain upping the boost more under safe range leaving the plenty of room for bolt on that will be coming out for 2013+ 2.0Ts.

We are shooting for around 300rhwp 330-350 tq/lbs with Stage 1.

Voiding Hyundai Warranty?

It’s not like we guarantee anything about your factory warranty but this has been proven over and over again that using our method of ECU tune there is no way for Hyundai dealers to detect the tune (As stated above, we pull your original data that contains all the information even including all immobilizer coding, VIN, CAL ID, ETC and modify the parameters that have to do with performance. then flashing back onto factory computer. Thus, all the original ECU information retains the same info)

We’ve been offering and flashing over 400+ vehicles in past 2.5years and yet to have any reports from customers with warranty.

If you are not sure and going for some major dispute for warranty fix, you can always contact us for flashing ECU back to stock original data which we would take care at no charge (Customers are responsible for Shipping $).

1. Mailing the ECU (Turn around time depends on what the buyers use for shipping. We can get the ECU flashed on the same day and drop it off @ Shipping carrier location)
