Low running costs

underpowered engines

A few cheap parts

The new Honda Jazz on the success of its predecessor – a practical interior with the Honda build quality have come to love. The are generally very positive.

Interior features have been the Jazz’s party and reviews say that this keeps the tradition going. say that there’s an abundance of inside, and rear seats a multitude of different moves to for a variety of different loads.

Interior quality is unfortunately a concern, though, with reviews highlighting low quality, plastics in places. However, generally concede that are mere blights on the Jazz’s in general, and durability should at be a given.

Reviews say – while the Jazz competently enough – not a car designed with dynamics in That’s not to say that it’s though – many simply state that not quite as sharp as it could be.

Similarly, some concerns are over the suspension setup with many criticising the ride for being a little on the side. Many reviews that CVT gearbox-equipped models are a on the noisy side, too.

Honda Jazz

The Jazz gets a choice of different engines – a 1.4 and a Hybrid 1.3. The former are praised thoroughly – refinement and fuel economy – while the latter quite as well received, reviewers coming to the consensus at £16,000 it’s just too given its relative lack of abilities.

Running costs are low with the 1.2 hitting 53mpg, and the 1.4 not far Cheapest of all to run is the Hybrid which 62.8mpg, but with a CO2 figure of it just misses out on both road tax and Congestion Charge which is a shame.

Value for money

Prices for the are competitive, and even basic come with a reasonable of equipment. Also worth in mind is the sheer practicality-per-pound with the Jazz seating 5 and with a larger boot that of a Ford Focus, arguably getting more for your money too. residuals also play a meaning that the little is likely to hang onto of its original price.

Worth noting

Don’t be up by the notion of the Hybrid too much at nearly £16,000 it’s by small diesel engined like the Ford Fiesta and Citroen DS3 99g, both of are free to tax and Congestion Charge – a party trick the fails to pull off.

The automatic gearbox available a CVT – is only available on 1.4 and is a £1000 premium. Hybrid has the CVT, but is more expensive

This Jazz picks up the old one left off, improving the in a number of areas in the process. not as involving to drive as Ford’s but it’s infinitely more and arguably appeals to a different altogether.
