GM (Buick) me with a 2012 Buick GS for one week for testing purposes. completed my week of testing and to provide my thoughts on my first of the vehicle #8211; how it drove, how it how it felt and my overall experience. it#8217;s impossible to truly get to a vehicle in only a week, but I you can get a good initial impression.

is not always possible simply driving a vehicle at a dealer

Buick Regal GS First #8211; Quality

Our very impression of vehicle quality is we first lay eyes on the vehicle. at the new Regal GS, it LOOKS like a vehicle. Guys, I#8217;m you can relate #8211; we like to out the lines of a new car we#8217;re looking at. Are the tight?

Does all of the body work fit like it was designed to rather an after-thought? Does it look some craftsmanship was involved in the vehicle? You can often tell if a is of a high quality just by at it.

Buick#8217;s Regal GS gave first impression of quality.

an interior perspective, I was a little with the center console and of the Regal. It still reminded me of the GM layout and feel. The buttons somewhat cheap, especially the GS sticker price is nearing The instrument panel was somewhat to read, partially due to the size of the but also the seat and steering location.

Maybe I simply to adjust my seat into a appropriate position but I couldn#8217;t get it right.

Also, it should be that a notification came on a few during my test drive the StabiliTrak system required It would go away after 5 10 minutes or so, but on a new vehicle (with 8k miles) I was a bit disappointed to see such a It bubbled up some quality in the back of my mind despite my impressions to the contrary. Is this a that GM still has some issues or just a simple

Impossible to tell in only a one test.

Buick Regal GS Impression #8211; Style

Ok, going to lay it all out with this

Buick has never made a beautiful looking vehicle.

In fact, very few car makers ever made a better (four door) vehicle. The Regal GS looks awesome; a head-turner and I mean that People would see me driving it and turn their heads and as I drove by.

When was the time you could say that any American four door It#8217;s been a while .

The of the Regal is stylish and comfortable as The font bucket seats to wrap around you and hold you while you#8217;re sitting.

It#8217;s a very comfortable but also one of security as well. I was to take the GS on a 2+ hour road  and thought that it did on the longer haul trips, Because of the adjustable suspension GS Sport modes), you can tune the car to driving conditions and need.

I the default setting to be firm but not even with the low-profile and 20#8243; wheels the vehicle equipped with.

Buick GS First Impression #8211;

I think GM is finally starting to on when it comes to vehicles and Of course, there#8217;s quite a bit of involved years in advance it comes to tech and cars. I that thanks to the fine at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI .

in the 2012 Regal GS are the standard of technical features most (or of the GM line has #8211; OnStar, ABS child safety locks, seat child LATCH etc). The engine itself, is a technical and engineering marvel in vehicle. When you consider a 2.0 engine is pushing out 270 horsepower and 300 (295) lb.-ft of torque, quite an accomplishment itself.

I was a little disappointed with the mileage stat, but you may be able to 30mpg out of it after it#8217;s in a few miles. A few of the other tech I appreciated were:

Bluetooth with voice control

power driver#8217;s seat

lumbar control

Dual-zone control (with a vent for the seat in the center console

Active stability + traction (StabiliTrak)

Passive entry push-button start (no need to use the key as long as you have the key fob in your the doors open and the car starts).

USB on the stereo with XM service

rear (GS Turbo) parking (beeps at you as you get close to the curb, etc).

While the list of tech is it#8217;s not really what I consider impressive for a vehicle in category or price level. I was for a bit more tech for the money but some improvements are coming in the model years. I#8217;m out hope. I also would liked to have seen the features more prominently on the window sticker.

Perhaps there#8217;s no #8216;wow#8217; factor, just intermingle tech the other features?

Overall on the 2012 Buick Regal GS

simply? I would buy this I liked the vehicle a lot. I Buick has made some strides in its design and overall quality, despite some issues I experienced.

I think the is wonderfully styled, an awesome to drive, has plenty of power, of control and many of the features expect to find in a four (sporty) sedan.
