1987 Porsche 944 Turbo

E30 M3 prices staying sky high time to look for a new German car to lust over. I’m going to out the often overlooked yet very Porsche 944 Turbo. Both the M3 and 944 were launched in the middle of and are front engine, rear drive German sports that weigh in at less 3,000 pounds. While the M3 has described as a ballet slipper for its handling and driver connection, the 944 is of a soccer cleat.

It wasn#8217;t so much for finesse but rather sprints and the ability to pack a punch.

Here we have a low 951 that looks especially and sharp in black. With 67,000 miles this is one of the mileage examples I#8217;ve seen aside the Turbo S models that to be garage queens. Luckily, a stack of service records to go it which should alleviate any stress.

I took a job in Boston a year ago but the 944 back in Cary, and I#8217;ve decided that there#8217;s no way to keep the 944 up here. I#8217;ve driven it in the salt, it#8217;s garaged, and I#8217;d rather see it go to a new rather than gather parked on the street here.

The car has 67k miles, it#8217;s rust-free, and the is overall very good for age. The guys at European (highly reviewed shop I have my work done) me the engine pulls just as as the ones they remember they were new 25 years Less than 2k miles this car had it#8217;s major service items done.

New kevlar belts rated to 45k miles before service (I still change them at new OEM rollers, new OEM water pump, and else that comes the service. I have a receipt European Performance for all of the work. also had a recent tune-up for all of the ignition system, filters, hoses, gear oil etc.

was done less than 20k also has brand new master/slave This car is ready to go for another 30k (have the timing tension every 15k though, plus oil changes). It never leaks any oil the garage floor.

Also, it is stock except for replacing the center console (aka holder) with one out of the 968 RS (not in interior photo). The sunroof, windows and pop-up headlights work flawlessly, unlike examples out there.

The car has a few faults. The AC no longer works, the will need servicing there#8217;s a slight tear on the boot and the driver seat, the seat power height motor is burned out (the adjusters are manual), the front end has rock chips and speed scrape (visible in photos), the side rock guard is gone, and there are a few minor The stock head-unit got really by a burned CD and no longer works.

it#8217;s a standard DINN and a new one can be picked up at any car stereo place. I replace it myself, but I figured the probably had their own taste in they wanted in a head-unit. replace a lot of this stuff brakes and shift boot but working full-time in Boston that my time back in is too limited to really get work on the car.

Also, the Carfax report to you some time: http://www.carfax.com/cfm/FSBO.cfm?report=64E48BA27BB72D9CC974EA4FB630FDBA

The expensive Porsche is a cheap This one has a stack of service it#8217;s been wrenched on by the miles are low, it#8217;s garaged all of it#8217;s life, and been loved.

I in Boston for seven years and can that it’s no place for a condition 944 Turbo. To make worse you could only drive this beauty the year. You can tell from the up and service records that the not only took care of the car but really cared for it.

This is the type of person you to buy a car from. There are a few maintenance should you want to get this to excellent condition. I think is a fair price for this

Seeing that it wasn’t up right away makes me it is more realistic that it go for $11,000 but the owner obviously it deservers top price given its and care.
