I fricking love this car but being a broke ass student and wanting to spend silly money just doesn’t mix..

You don’t need to be a genius to see the potential in this car and if you have more money than none then you can make it happen. Of course you wanna switch it to manual and while you’re at it may as well swap the engine too right. Engine swap is really determined by how much power you want. you could go cheap and reliable and use a 5MGE supra for the engine and box. spend a little more on a 7MGTE. more again on 1JZ or 1UZ. there’s plenty of room under that bonnet.

If you ask him very nicely I’m sure he could give you some help with how that’s done.

I’ve been pimping around in it the last year. It is totally reliable as it is if you wanted to keep it as it is for a daily. It did the 6hr round trip to Silverstone the other weekend without blinking and on one tank of petrol.

I have a bunch of cool bits too.

Endless pads fount and back plus an extra set of rears (fronts fitted)

Poly bushes

Uprated drop links front and back (fronts fitted)

RCAs (fitted)

Cusco strut braces front and back

Bride GX71 specific drivers seat rail :smokin:

Rare as fook front splitter (needs tidy up)

GX71 specific steering boss

other bits on the way from Japan..

GX71 manual clutch and brake pedals

Tokico adjustable front shocks

you can have these when they show up.

The springs are just cut (in half ) however you can fit the ones from a mk2 supra. eibach do stiffer lower ones.

RUST. okay it is sweet in all the right places. chassis, strut tops, sills, doors are all SOLID

the rusty bits are the arches and across the front of the roof line. I was working on it over the winter and got fed up being rained on. the fronts arches are fixed and the rears need work. I wrapped it up in racers tape to wait for better weather. I’ve since moved and its been living in a garage for the last 3 months.

I’ve just been hella busy at uni and not finished it.

I have these too. overfenders for an RA celica. was considering chopping of the rusty crap and fitting these

The whole car is kinda scruffy. But I could care less. It has bags of character and is just fun to drive. The white is cool. the yellow fog lights. pillarless doors. all the silly electro buttons (all work). the noise. the ride height. and chicks fricking love the seats

How much. Depends on what bits you want really.
