1956 beauty was extremely received by the crowds at the Oakland Show and upon arriving at the Sacramento Autorama, it was chosen for the Harold A. Bagdasarian award for MOST BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM!

The top has chopped 3 ½ inches. The rain have been filled and The grill was hand-made with 3/8 steel rod by Gregg Westbury. The cavity is a combination of ‘51 Merc lip bar on top.

All plating was done by Sherm’s of Sacramento. They did all of the chrome and all of the some of which Zocchi was unfixable…they did a magnificent job!

Bob Madsen was responsible for re-conditioning the air which did not work when the car was

The engine compartment is stock. It was painted and detailed by Evan Motor work was performed by Kissinger.

The suspension in the front is a of ‘56 Ford spindles altered to fit the ‘77 Granada disc brakes. The end was lowered by reworking leaf and lowering blocks. The frame was C’d and air shocks were used.

This car is one of the best driving Zocchi has ever had.

The glass work was performed at Glass, Concord, CA by Dan Mazzoncini and Grafe.

The windshield of this car was cut and installed two days before the Roadster Show, but that’s story.
