Currently the power l series in the UK, and maybe in the First bought the car as a rover 25 101 td. 4-5 years the car has completely changed and physically. At the start there many people involved in and moving the l series forward.

dave (wingy) came and started to provide products, and alot of research into the Then more people involved, and through the forum, evolved.

Firstly i was happy with air improvements, air filters, front intercooler, and decat. This was a start, but i wanted more. I messed about with trying different combinations and boost controllers, etc. The big point is when i finally up and got all the parts sorted. This was a day for me, and included mk1 turbo, upgraded and wingy downpipe.

When i got the car back it was transformed. some running in and few other i then took it to a local to see what he could do with it. As no one in northern ireland had really got with these cars, i gain much from the Standard it was running 155bhp/255ft/lb, and it was 164bhp/267ft/lb. At this stage the car was quick, abit smokey due to leakage problems but was a real forward for the car.

After this i decided things had to be improved, so brakes, and tyres had to be done. This was and the car felt alot safer and responsive. Then the rest of exhaust system was added, and a mk2 turbo. With a return to the reveiled wat i had thought from the car, the torque had sky rocketed.

170bhp/295ft/lb was the figure, and the car was very I then contacted matt with regards moving the car on the mapping side. We then at the cosford meet, and after 5-6 up the road, the car was done. On full the car was very quick, and had very smoke.

When i got home, i went back to the dyno, were the figure was got 178bhp/312ft/lb.

But then the started, water problems, shaft problems, and general and poor performance. The car was returned to std and injectors fixed.

So the opportunity that i could take it off the for a overhaul, so thats were it is at the Im hoping to have it back on the as a half road/track car, to 200bhp, and maxing out clutch and I think this will be the for the car, will be very and enjoyable.
